Casinha da Póvoa - Village Tourism

KateRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Second time staying in the little house which is conveniently situated in the centre of the village with bars,a couple of shops, atm and nice public garden. It has all that's needed for a stay, including a great shower and a comfortable bed. The bread delivery each day is very helpful. Paula is a friendly host with good communication. I would definately stay again and recommend it.

Cantinho do Pedro

Leonor is a wonderful caring and warm person. She took great care of us during our stay by being available to our questions about the area, welcoming us warmly in her place with some tea and local specialties, bringing us fresh bread in the morning, eggs from her hens, lettuce from her garden, fair well plater as we left… the place is everything described on the add and it was very welcoming to arrive to a warm fire place as the weather was very rainy and cold. Such a wonderful stay!!! Thank you so much and I highly recommend Leonor’s place if you come in this beautiful region!

Rural Apartments in Valencia de Alcantara - 2 pax

This is a tranquil place to stay if you are looking for spot to relax! I would stay here again. If you are traveling with dogs, note that their rules do not allow the dog to be left unattended in the unit or to be on furniture/bed. They have doggy beds and water/food bowls for dogs if you need them. The units look exactly like the listing photos. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. If you are coming in on a Sunday plan to bring some groceries with you as there are not grocery stores or restaurants open nearby. I’d recommend going to Salto for a glass of wine and a stroll across the border to Portugal. This spot is also a great home base if you are looking to hike to the Dolmens or stargaze at the lookout for Berrocal de la Data. Thank you again for your hospitality. This was a wonderful stay.

Fountain House

SusanaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved our stay in the Fontanheira houses, without a doubt I give 5 stars. The house has all the conditions for a couple with 2 children, very spacious, modern and beautifully decorated. My daughters say it was the coolest house where they stayed, they loved it! But note to those who have smaller children, that access to the mezzanine can be a bit dangerous, because the stairs do not have lateral protection, which for us was not a problem, as my daughters are already older. We stayed in the house farthest from the pool, which has a stunning view to the mountain (I don't know if the side house will also have). Great house to disconnect from everyday stress and recharge batteries in the middle of nature.

Charming Town House in Castelo de Vide

Jan-HugoRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Leo’s place is located in the peaceful inner sanctum of the town. The apartment has modern influences and comforts as advertised, but tastefully acknowledges the aesthetic heritage of its location. The location, amenities and Leo’s exceptional hosting ensured that our time in Castelo de Vide was relaxed and special. The skylight in the bedroom is a unique bonus - treat yourself by sleeping with it open. Any Airbnb veteran will know that 5 stars are deserved here - by the town, the host and the accommodation.

Monte dos Coureleiros

The property is stunning. You will feel at home! Everything is very clean. It is a private place, you don’t have other houses around the house, so if you are looking for a relaxing place, this is it. The decoration and furniture are exceptional. The host replied very fast to your call or texts if you need something. He was very kind and helpful. We called him almost at midnight because we were lost and he replied to our call quickly and very nicely!!! 100% recommended 💕

The Cocoon - Charming Village House in Nature Park

EmilioRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
As I was just passing through, I couldn't enjoy the stay and surroundings. But the deal I had with some villagers was excellent. It is a house that asks for more time to enjoy and explore the surroundings. I love that it doesn't have a "silly box" (TV) ;)

Casa 17 do Virtuoso

MimiRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Wonderful secluded place. Special to sit in an old village (well worth 1 street). It feels like getting away from time. The cottage is pleasant and well cooled and nice beds. The shared pool just down the road is beautiful. With a fantastic view of the rolling green hills. Definitely a nice place to relax for a while.
