Lovely Holiday House in Ponta do Ouro (Mozambique)

The Dolphin House is not far from the beach (15/20 minutes walk) on the lighthouse road. The property includes the main house with 2 bedrooms and the garden house also with 2 bedrooms on a 800 sq. meter plot. The rental is for both units (no sharing with others).The max number of guests is 8. The house is in a very quiet area. You can enjoy bars, restaurants and beaches and have a rest in a very peaceful environment. The house is perfect for families with a nice garden and a boma and a braai.

We had a fantastic time at Galago Bush camp. It was exactly what we were looking for - an experience of camping in the bush with simple comforts. Once we knew the route it was quick and easy to get to the beach, and lovely to come back for a refreshing outdoor shower and shade under the trees. We also enjoyed the bush babies, butterflies and birds. Thank you so much Barbara and Leon!

Had a great stay here with my family! The location is perfect(a short walk to the beach), and the AC(a rarity in Moz)was an absolute lifesaver in the Mozambican heat. The daily cleaning was also such a nice surprise! Petal, is a great host, she was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Esmeralda and Silvestre were also amazing—very kind and always willing to help. The team even helped us carry our bags, which we really appreciated. I saw another review mention mosquitoes, but honestly, it’s Mozambique—it’s to be expected. That said, we weren’t really bothered at all. There were hardly any mosquitoes during our stay, and as long as you don’t leave the windows open all the time, it’s not an issue. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d happily come back again!

The stay was everything you could ask for and more. The view is incredible with access to the beach and a comfortable patio to enjoy the beautiful beach. The drive is doable with 4 wheel drive, feels like a little off roading trip but it’s well worth it. The inside is well kept and clean. Overall an amazing place to stay and enjoy the view, would definitely recommend and return to this beautiful hideaway.
