How to describe the Bird House? A slice of heaven. Beautifully appointed with attention to detail and everything you could need. This was an amazing home from home and we didn’t want to leave. We loved the views and the sunsets, walks to the lighthouse and the beach. Kommetjie is the perfect place for a laid back holiday. Frances and Martin were very responsive, kind and generally lovely people. We will be back hopefully. This was the nicest air bnb we have ever stayed in.

A lovely property in the Lake Michelle Eco Estate. Very peaceful and close to Noordhoek village, Fish Hoek & Kalk Bay. Great location and very safe environment.

Such a stunning property, exactly as pictured. Ian was such a warm and welcoming host. The house had everything we needed for cooking and for a very comfortable stay. The wood burning stove kept the main area warm and cozy. Would highly recommend staying here, we hope to visit again.

Uta’s house is spacious, bright, and beautifully located with stunning views all around. There’s plenty of room to relax, work, or spend time together. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped — it has everything you need and more for cooking, including all the necessary appliances and utensils. We truly loved our stay and would highly, highly recommend this place to anyone. Would definitely come back!

We were absolutely enchanted. Vanessa has a great decor taste. A lot of attention to detail. In addition, we were very warmly welcomed. The house is equipped with everything you need. We had a very nice week in Vanessa's beautiful house.

Our family of 6 stayed at Sally’s home for a family reunion- we had a fabulous time! The home is so clean and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and Brenda is so kind and helpful. The views of the ocean and mountain are stunning! We hope to stay here again in the future!

I would highly recommend this property, Mark is so friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful with amazing views, it’s well equipped, and is very private. The only regret is we didn’t stay there longer.

I booked this house for my sisters who were coming down for the holidays, and it was absolutely perfect! Spacious, homey, and beautifully decorated — exactly like the pictures, if not better. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The host was fantastic: responsive, quick to answer any questions, and made sure everything was just right for their stay. My sisters didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this place especially for a group!

Fantastic stay from start to finish. perfectly located to explore cape town, the various bays and cape point. Christy (and Noula)have clearly put their heart and soul into the place with all the small touches. They were extremely responsive to our needs and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the sun come up over false bay each morning. stunning. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We had an incredible 11 day holiday with all extended family members. The house was perfect and we felt right at home. Perfect for kids too with pool, garden and table tennis. We couldn't believe the views surrounded by mountains and the main beach only an 8 minute drive away. The house felt safe and secure in a lovely neighbourhood. Noordhoek is a great location with most tourist hot spots and other towns only a 15-30 minute drive away. Couldn't have asked for a better place for a family reunion. Thanks Mandy and family.

A wonderful place to stay, especially with younger teenagers who could enjoy their independence & make use of the shops & restaurants. No need to leave once you check in - even the beach can be accessed as part of a pleasant walk. And the accommodation itself is both comfortable & stylish. Beautiful part of the peninsula to stay in for those who enjoy the outdoors. Our host was great.

What a wonderful property. It immediately felt like home. Both my wife and I were also remote working so the little office space was perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking there. The outside space was just beautiful and all conveniences were a short drive away. We didn't want to leave! It was also spotlessly clean. Sharon was amazing in answering all our questions promptly. We highly recommend this gorgeous hidden gem in Hout Bay.

My stay was homely, great host and beautiful apartment.

Paddy and Chris are exceptional host, they are very friendly and accommodating. The house is very well kept and perfectly located. It is in a very secure area in Hout Bay. It’s close to local amenities. I would definitely recommend this place and will also book this accommodation next time I am in Cape Town. The house feels like home away from home.

We had a lovely stay at Penny's place with our 1 year old baby. The place was very clean, and the Noordhoek area is lovely. Penny was very helpful. For instance, the TV screen was not working but Penny immediately offered a solution providing a new screen, which was much appreciated. With a baby, the only thing missing in the kitchen was a blender :) but we bought one at the mall nearby. Baby bed and high chair were provided by Penny. We recommend Penny's place to all families traveling in Cape Town !

This was an incredibly beautiful home to stay in. It was spacious, peaceful and absolutely as described in the pictures. I stayed for the weekend with my family, and we felt right at home from the beginning. The host was also great & very responsive even from the moment I booked the house about a week before. If you're looking for a peaceful escape from city life (with gorgeous sea views), then this is it!

We had a truly wonderful stay! Velicia was incredibly welcoming and went out of her way to personalize the kiddies’ room, which made our experience even more special. The house itself is beautiful, spotless, and very child-friendly — it genuinely felt like a second home. The area is peaceful with stunning views, perfect for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we booked, Stephan was friendly and helpful, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. We are so grateful for the hospitality and would absolutely love to return!

We absolutely loved every aspect of this cottage. The cottage is extremely stylish and well laid out. The cottage is in a quiet location but within a few steps of all Kalk Bay has to offer (including many wonderful coffee shops, restaurants serving delicious food, interesting shops, a lovely hairdresser and very helpful laundry). The view is beautiful from the front balcony and on the short walk to the main road. We definitely plan to return to Kalk Bay and very much hope to be able to return to this cottage as it would certainly be our first choice of accommodation in Kalk Bay.

This house is a magical place. The views are spectacular. The owner is amazing and responsive. His property manager was available and understanding. The house itself is in pristine condition, caters to your every need. The bathrooms, linen and crockery was exceptionally clean. Overall, just a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
