It was a wonderful place, nice terraces, sun/shade, especially the terrace on the forest wall with great views, silence, you could hear the birds, deer came by in the evening. We didn't spend much time inside. Beautiful cycling routes in the area. The contact with Henk was very pleasant, personal.. A very nice place!!!

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

Nice detached cottage. Lots of windows so it is nice light in the cottage. Private garden with garden set. With high fence so you are not visible from the public road. Induction plate for 2 pans. Coffee filters and coffee and pepper and salt are provided. 2 large towels for showering are provided. Friendly host who welcomed us. Recommended.

Nadja and Bauke were very welcoming and very flexible. The house is beautiful and finds itself in the beautiful old center of Woudsend and it had everything we would need for a great getaway weekend! We will definitely come back and enjoy it once more!

Super nice stay in a quiet location. Especially bring your children, there are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden is a mega hit. The house is full of comforts, lovely underfloor heating, open garden, where you can hear and admire the woodpecker, blackbird and other birds. You can walk in the environment. Laura responds quickly and has fun tips for the area. Recommended!

Absolutely brilliant houseboat. Super nicely decorated - very modern - equipped with everything you need. It was sparkling clean and cozy. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed the life on the houseboat very much (a great experience). The boat includes a sup, which we tried despite the season. In and around the boat is very quiet and yet you are almost in the middle of it - it is only a few meters to the actual place. Really great: the supermarket is right across the street. Anita and Diedert are great and very attentive hosts, whom we did not meet in person but the communication with them was excellent. We would love to come again.

We rented Oliver's dream chalet for our two-week vacation and are completely thrilled, very well rested and extremely impressed by Oliver's hospitality!!! At this very lovingly and thoughtfully furnished accommodation, no wish remains unfulfilled and it also holds one or two nice surprises ready. Where do I start and when do I stop? The two large Bluetooth speakers (simple, uncomplicated operation) on the terrace, for example, with a "disco light strip" on the roof overhang - world class!! In addition, an excellent gas grill, even candles were thought of. The free standup paddle, the bicycles at your disposal, a very nice, covered and cozy lounge right by the water and not to forget, the possibility to rent the motorboat for a very fair price. I would like to write more, but the characters are limited here - still remains to say: 1000 thanks Oliver!! We will be happy to come back!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy chalet in Holland! The place was very clean, modernly furnished and equipped with everything you might need – from the fully equipped kitchen to relax. The location was perfect: quiet, surrounded by nature and yet close to shopping and attractions. We especially enjoyed the hosts who were always helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful stay! It has us and our three children. We will be happy to come back. The children had fun in the water and on the boat. Communication with Patrick and Frauke worked great.

We (two adults and two children) absolutely loved our stay at Jurriaan’s place. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything a family could need, from comfy beds to a fully equipped kitchen. Our kids adored the small terrace where they could play in the morning while we sipped coffee and soaked up the sunshine. The location is perfect, peaceful yet close to shops and attractions, and Jurriaan was always quick to respond, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. We couldn’t recommend this accommodation more highly and would gladly return anytime!

Fantastic host, fantastic accommodation. Extremely clean and spacious. Perfect if alone, a couple or even 3 people. Rebecca was very friendly and responded very quickly, met me in person for check in, she even messaged me after my first night to make sure I was happy with the guesthouse. There was lots of information provided about surrounding restaurants etc all in a folder, everything you need for your stay. It was a 10 min walk from Hoorn train station and a 3 min walk to a food shop. Lovely quiet neighbourhood. I would absolutely stay there again and I would highly recommend it. 10/10

I would 100% recommend this cottage to stay. It is nicely & practically furnished and it has everything you need: from shower gel to umbrellas, rugs to games. And a very comfortable bed + blackout curtains. Wake up peacefully to the sound of birds and a view of rabbits and chickens.

The short break in the Shepherds Hut was simply wonderful! The accommodation is very tastefully decorated and the surroundings idyllic and like a picture book! We were able to really relax and just make ourselves comfortable. The small towns and villages in the area are picturesque and the sea is just a stone's throw away. The contact with Yvet was always friendly and courteous! An absolute recommendation and definitely worth a second trip! Thank you!!

We were guests for 3 nights, 4 days. The accommodation is very lovingly designed, all around you will find free-range rabbits, cows and sheep in the fields. The ducks came out of the nearby river in the evening and slept in the garden. Dorothee made our stay extremely easy. She is very polite and gives good tips on how to organize your days on site. Amsterdam can be reached from the accommodation by bus. The accommodation and the location is a dream. All around, everything was very uncomplicated, happy to come back.

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

Lovely accommodation for sunny days. We had a great time, even though we were unlucky with the weather. Great view and very quiet, great place to relax and get away. Highly recommend. ☺️

We had a girls' weekend and the accommodation was perfect for it: we had everything we needed and were surrounded by nature. The studio is very nice and stylishly furnished and there was enough space for three. You can park directly in front of the house and are therefore very flexible. We liked it very much and we will recommend the accommodation!

At Corry's and especially in the beautiful, quiet garden, we felt very comfortable, even if we only had one night and one morning. Corry fulfilled every wish, for breakfast we give an extra 5 points. Again and again, full recommendation.

Nice cottage. Located freely on a bike path across the water. Bed is very good. It's nice that there are screens for the windows above. Everything is abundantly available. We sailed to Hindeloopen with the boat. Very nice! Boat is difficult to start. If you want to cross the water on foot, you can cross the meadow (right of way) at the bridge. Cottage is highly recommended!
