Very peaceful, private and quiet. we loved the swing in the balcony and spa bath with a view.

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was perfectly secluded for privacy but easily accessible and close to town for easy access.

What a wonderful weekend away! Peaceful, private location, gorgeous cottage with all amenities you could need (including a hot tub and the world’s comfiest bed). Steve and Alaina were very responsive and helpful and it was such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

It was AMAZING!! We absolutely enjoyed our stay to the max. The whole house was so equipped with all the utilities you’d need. The jacuzzi and sauna were easy to use and we have loved our time in there. And don’t forget the two adorable cuties Charlie and Maple. Charlie wanted to play a lot but unfortunately he plays with his horns as well so definitely keep some food in your hands to keep him in line. Maple was extremely cuddable. Overall, it was great! I highly recommend this location for a girls trip or for couples. It’s perfect for some peace, relax and quality time!!

We stayed in Possums Retreat (unfortunately just for one night) and had a fantastic time. We love this place and will definately be returning. From the awesome spa, lovely bathroom, and tasteful decor, to the thoughtful breakfast hamper supplied, everything exceeded our expectations. We didn't hear the rooster make a noise until well after 8, and we had been up for a while by then! Great directions from the hosts, who are super thoughtful, even supplying new runners beside the beds as the weather was so cold. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. We were two couples with our pooches and the accomodation was perfect. The property is warm and welcoming, the views to die for, and all the ammenities you need for a beautiful stay. We love food and wine and the well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook beautiful meals. The living space was more than adequate for 4, and our pups were very secure. Thank you to James and Roz who are great hosts.

We had a great stay at Gheerulla Place - a very cute cottage on a fantastic property. We took our two dogs and the size of the property and fact that it was fenced was great. Very peaceful, great accommodation (clean, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds). Great communication from the hosts - we felt very welcomed and looked after.

We had a lovely stay at Brendon and Belinda’s. The unit was a really good size, in a great location with the beach an easy walk away along with many cafes to choose from for your morning coffee or breakfast. Despite the weather we really enjoyed getting out and about with our furbaby who enjoyed the stay as much as we did.

Lovely place, very peaceful and tranquil. Enjoy our stay and will be booking again next time we’re in the area.

My family and I had a very relaxing stay at Magnolia Cottage. The cottage was warm and cosy especially with the gas fireplace. We loved the quietness of the area and the beautiful views across the valley. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The visiting horses were a lovely addition. Great location, just a 5 minute drive into Maleny town. We hope to all come back again soon.

Steve’s place is fantastic. Lovely location. Really peaceful surroundings and great view out the back to mountains and lush greenery. The added fire pit at the back was a great touch. Also a special treat were the horses next door which loved a pat. All in all a great stay.

Sipping on my cup of tea admiring the beautiful garden set on the rolling hills, the little cows dotting the fields and the birds chirping away. The calm before my 3 yr old wakes up, this was probably the highlight of my mornings. One morning we saw the sunrise from the living room of cottage 1. The cottage was a short drive to Mary Cairncross and Gardner falls and the shops too. We were able to make dinner both nights so we could enjoy the view from the cottage. It was also quite peaceful as we were the only ones occupying the set of 4 cottages. I personally think the only way to enjoy a winter holiday is definitely by the fireplace at night and we were able to do that every night for a few hours. Thank you for sharing your spot.

We booked the Postman’s Cottage along with the main house and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage is a luxurious, peaceful retreat — beautifully styled, incredibly comfortable, and every detail was ten stars. A truly relaxing escape in the heart of Montville. Can’t wait to return! My wife, two year-old and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Hunchy. The cabin is beautifully appointed, warm and cozy with a powerful shower, hot water and plenty of bedding. My two year-old loved playing with the dogs, feeding the sheep and chasing the chickens. Garth constructed a lovely fire for us on the first night and we warmed ourselves with hot cocoa. Cute little place, quiet and we felt well rested to explore the beauty of the hinterland
