Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Norte Region

A great, family friendly place to stay. Very convenient to access everything we wanted to see around the city, the neighborhood was quiet at night, and there is a huge playground less than a block away. Manuel was a great host. He gave us a lot of information and even let us drop off our bags early.

Nice spot for a stay in Porto. Outside of the main touristic paths, so it is usually fairly calm (unless there's some major event happening). Still within walking distance from pretty much everything. Can definitely recommend, as long as you don't mind the wind "ASMR" and taking stairs ;-). The owner is very proactive, ready with local recommendations for sites to see, restaurants, etc. Though the checkin is automated, got to meet him during the stay and it was all cool as well.

We were only able to stay two nights at Maria's place, but it was wonderful. We appreciated the clear instructions on how to access the apartment and the instructions and information in the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the listed amenities. We appreciated the location which was great for exploring the Porto area. Would highly recommend.

The apartment is as described and very welcoming. The historic center of Porto is very easy to reach on foot with all amenities and tourist places. If you are visiting Porto I recommend this place 👍

The appartment was very clean and neat. It had everything we wanted and needed: complete kitchen, comfortable couch, spacious shower. However, as mentioned in other reviews, it is a noisy street, so not an ideal location if you are a light sleeper.

We had a lovely stay at Marcia's place - it was the perfect size for our family group of four adults and two kids! We especially enjoyed hanging out in the living/dining area and on the balcony. The kids really appreciated the games and books, and the local toiletries were a nice extra. The only small downside was the blinds in the bedrooms, which were a bit finicky and hard to close, but eventually we figured it out. Thank you for the warm welcome, Marcia!

Our first visit to Porto city and we could not be in a better place. Super clean and organized. Gustavo went to receive us personally, explained all the details about Porto, was a consultancy about the city with the right to the gift map containing his instructions. The accommodation is comfortable and quiet, with black-out for quality sleep, air-conditioning, great bathroom. The kitchen is complete with all the necessary items. It also has a very pleasant patio! We love it!

We absolutely loved our stay with Guilherme and couldn’t speak highly enough about the home. The view from all over the apartment is unbelievable and every wall has a large well positioned window to discover a new vista. We found it very convenient to lamego, Regua and pinhao, the three towns we wanted to visit. The bathroom was cleaner than that of the Ritz Carlton we stayed at in Sintra. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, which we did several nights so we could enjoy dinner on the magnificent terrace. The pool was well positioned to capture the sun and was always a nice temperature. The washer & dryer worked perfectly. The AC was not needed much because the breeze was so lovely but when we used it, it worked perfectly. The internet was surprisingly strong - I did 90 minute work zoom calls with no struggle. Our host was attentive and thoughtful and kind. Everything that could have been great about a stay was present here and we were sad to leave. We will return!

We loved our stay in Carlos's apartment. From the minute we walked in and were greeted by Carlos and his parents we felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Would love to stay again and recommend to friends travelling to Porto in the future.

Helena's house is perfect for spending a few days and getting to know Miranda do Douro. The house is located in the historic center meters from the Cathedral and the Fortaleza. Very well equipped and with details that are appreciated (the jam was delicious!). Helena was very attentive before and during the stay. Repetiremos!

Small casita, but very cozy, equipped with everything you need. It made us very good weather and we really enjoyed the garden. Tumbonas where to relax in the sun, hanging hammocks, outdoor shower, chill-out area with outdoor kitchen, barbecue… It also has a common area, with foosball and pimpón, shared with the annex apartment. We really liked the area; it's quiet and at the same time you have everything you need on hand. There are two supermarkets nearby, a bakery on the same street, restaurants and beaches nearby (approx 15mins walking). Specifically one of dogs (Praia Calzoa) where our dog really enjoyed running around its huge sand. Miguel was very attentive from the first moment. Always aware that everything was to our liking. He provided us with local recommendations for both catering and activities/leisure. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay in Caldelas and thoroughly enjoyed the villa as our base to explore northern Portugal. It is a beautiful house in a stunning, countryside location and the views from every room in the house never got tiring! There is plenty of space in the villa for 6 people and the garden and barbecue areas are also spacious and kept very clean. The host was in regular contact and was very responsive to the odd query we had. On a day to day basis, Miss Paula was often around on the estate and offered advice and help whenever we asked for it. ‘Peolo’, the farm dog became one of our party and we all miss seeing him around every day! He was such a friendly and well behaved dog; we had no issues at all with him spending time with us when we were at the villa! Would absolutely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful location with fantastic views of the Portuguese countryside. We certainly plan on returning at some point!

The house is gorgeous and very well located. The garden overlooks the Douro river. Perfect to watch the sunset! Marcos and Madalena were very friendly and responsive. The house is a few minutes walk to shops and a lovely bakery for breakfast. We highly recommend the stay.
