Beachfront holiday rentals in North Bay

Spice's cottage was the perfect getaway. We enjoyed the everything about it. The lake is quite shallow for a fair distance off the shore so the water was a good temperature for early June. It's 20 minutes to Burkes Falls, 40 minutes to Huntsville which we are quite familiar with. We would definitely look to book again in the future.

We had a great little fall getaway weekend and the cottage was perfect. It was just the 2 of us plus our 2 little dogs, which made for a very quiet, peaceful and relaxing escape. The sun rise and sunset over the lake is picturesque! The cottage had all the amenities we needed to cook our meals and just relax. Kim was wonderful to correspond with and was able to offer us an early check in and checkout to make the most of our weekend. Would definitely recommend a visit to this wonderful cottage on Pickerel Lake!

The view from the balcony pays for the place! So peaceful and the sauna was great. Wish the weather was more cooperative but there’s load to do at this cottage.

We had a great stay. Our 4 year old son and golden retriever loved the shallow water, peaceful area and the beautiful view. I tell people all the time my memories as a kid was sauble beach sandy cabin style cottage with a screem door lol. We now live near sauble so we like to head further north now Muskoka. Cute little place and can't beat the pink sky over a fire! Thanks again Burks falls is such a cute town wasn't busy for a weekend in June ....out Screaming heads.

not a single issue, host was available for questions, great space , great value and beautiful redone firepit with firewood. lots of chipmunks and ducks. the master bedroom felt like sleeping next to the water with amazing glider rocker Adirondack chairs right out the patio doors for morning coffee.

Had a great weekend getaway with family. Nice hill to go sliding with kids and adults. Kids had fun ski dooing. Beautiful place, spent a lot of time outside. Was snowing during our stay and the driveway and snow bank was plowed quickly. Great service! Would definitely recommend this place!

we checked in on Friday evening the couple hosting us for the weekend we're fantastic! they we're very helpful and made the stay very enjoyable. we had some noisey neighbor's that liked playing loud Indian music in the mornings but I didn't complain because they didn't disturb my sleep. I am unsure who took over watching the cottages on Sunday afternoon but they we're less attentive, several people checked in on Sunday evening and they we're not greeted by a host. My husband and I helped people find there way. we really did enjoy our stay and I give all the credit to the couple hosting us from Friday to Sunday. Thank you for your hard work.

We booked the airbnb very last minute and Lixin reached out to us promptly and gave us clear instructions. The cottage is stunning , it actually looks better than the pictures. overall, we had a wonderful weekend over there.

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Ian is a great host very friendly and professional. Amenities are well kept from the swimming pool to the fish cleaning hut, you can buy even premium gas for your boat and enjoy a Saturday evening karaoke. Definitely we will come back again.

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

My family and I had a nice cozy experience staying on Ian's yacht. We relished the lake views, the dock, the stars, and the sunset, as well as the opportunity to cast our fishing line directly off the bow.

My 5-year-old daughter and I were on a road trip and we booked this very last minute. it was definitely the highlight of the trip and wish we would have stayed a couple of extra days. the water was beautiful in the evening with the sunset.

Ian's place is as described. His boat is clean, and the resort is well organized. He is one of the few hosts that is actually on-site, to help with anything needed; he is also very accommodating and easy-going. I didn't think there was actually going to be a karaoke night, as it had been described in the other reviews, but there was one. The whole area is conducive to a relaxed state of mind. my son and I enjoyed staying here and will very likely come back for some good fishing. Yes, we caught fish too, which was a plus.

Yet again a fabulous stay at Joli Voyageur Campground. Our first time in the bunkhouse and it was exactly as described. Perfect for our weekend.

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

Cottage was amazing. Very clean, all the amenities you could ask for. Outside was wonderful. Brought our 20 month old granddaughter and the beach area and water was perfect! Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!

Our family had an awesome stay! We couldn’t enjoy the outdoors because the black flies were too aggressive, but we had a blast inside! We loved the open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area because it gave us one big space to hang out together comfortably, with lots of seating so we weren’t split up into different rooms. Would love to visit again and enjoy the waterfront next time.

Jay & Jess's Arbnb was such an amazing place. There was so much to do and the place was a nice place to kayak and explore the fox lake. I would come again for sure.
