Holiday rentals with lake access in Northeastern United States

Immaculate space. Location and views are incredible. Check in was easy, hosts were very communicative and you can tell they put a great deal of energy into their home. They also included fresh eggs from their farm. We were obsessed with it and will definitely rebook.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The house was clean, cozy, and in a great location (only 20 min away from Manchester). We ended up using the downstairs bedroom because the upstairs bedroom gets pretty hot even with the fans turns on. We also did not use the pond because there was a good amount of algae growing in it.

We loved staying at this location! The setting was private and peaceful. The house was beautiful and it seemed like they had thought of everything. It was great to have the canoe and kayaks and of course we also loved the indoor and outdoor showers and indoor and outdoor fire options. This place was a splurge but I would say definitely worth it!

A very lovely place to stay! The description matched the place exactly. We enjoyed spending a lot of time outside on the deck bird watching and even saw some fish jumping in the river. The property is also very private which was a huge plus -- no visible neighbors in any direction while spending time outside. Seth was a very responsive host and did a great job with the design of the house. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay extra nice. Would love to stay again!

Excellent location with private pond. This home was truly built for a family gathering. Wonderful entertaining spaces, large fireplace with an expansive kitchen to cook in. There is a large game room with board games to suite all ages, billiards, croquet, and a small row boat for fun.

Great getaway spot for a spring trip with the family! Enjoyed exploring the pond, relaxing in the hot tub and spending quality time in this beautiful home.

what a peaceful and beautiful place for our weekend trip! it was super clean and the hosts were always available if we needed them! even though the place is surrounded by other homes, you felt secluded in nature which is just what we needed to unwind from the day! all of it was wonderful but we especially enjoyed sitting out by the stream drinking our nightly coffee! we hope to return next year as well! thank you again Carolyn and Tom for everything!

Amazing view, great and comfy Airbnb. The hot tub is such a nice plus with the incredible view over the mountains. It was so well equipped we had most of our meals in the Airbnb because the kitchen was so functional. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had the most amazing weekend at Alice’s. She was a beautiful and gracious host. She made us banana nut bread! The rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the lake. I would recommend staying here and plan to be back!!

Cathy was an exceptional host! The accommodations were so beautiful, so much love and hard work put in to making it a cozy place to stay. Bed was huge and comfy. Cinnamon buns were delicious. Hot tub was relaxing and private. We want to come back and try one of her other suites.

We visit the finger lakes region several times a year and this is space and location was a perfect fit for us. Friendly responsive host who has clear instructions to everything. A very clean, well supplied place.

Sandy’s Moose River House was a wow wow wow stay for us !! Romantic 62nd birthday trip. The view from the living room window is like looking out a boat window—the water and wildlife are that close up and personal. Loons, cheery house wren, bombardier hummingbirds, a wood duck and her tiny babies parading by, and flowers bursting everywhere. Yummy outdoor hot tub, comfy covered back deck, lots of dishes and cookware, great linens, and easy coke and go access. Easy area to take peaceful walks. We went to Nick’s Lake Stare Park to hike around the lake—a glorious hike I’ve been doing since I was a child. Eating at Walt’s Diner (local vibe) and Frankie’s (giant Italian portions) was wonderful as always. Sandy was very warm and welcoming, without ever for a minute being intrusive. Perfect balance. On our list of top 3 Airbnb stays ever, in 14 years of being guests all over the world. We will be back !!

Beautiful location right on Cayuga Lake. Peaceful, quiet, and very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and provided a lot of information on the local area. We enjoyed our stay very much!

I wish I could have stayed longer and had the time to use the canoe and go out to the island. The cottage was perfect. Spotless, peaceful, I hope I can come back again. It is an amazing view of the Lake.

We had the most amazing stay at this charming lakefront cottage in Vermont! From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the peaceful setting, stunning lake views, and the cozy, well-appointed interior. We spent our days kayaking, fishing, and relaxing by the shore, and our evenings watching breathtaking sunsets and stargazing by the firepit. It truly felt like a little slice of heaven. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. This was one of the most peaceful and memorable trips we’ve had in a long time, and we’re already dreaming about coming back. This is a lovely home and we had a great stay. Scott and Joelle were very accommodating and generous after car troubles delayed our arrival. A true gem, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil poconos getaway!

We loved everything about Mika Life! Jude was so responsive and helpful-even letting us have a package of important forgotten items delivered to her home ahead of our arrival! The house is small but well and smartly equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. We loved it!

Mary’s cabin was beautiful. It was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We loved the hot tub and kayaking on the pond. It’s a must-stay!
