This is not a tourist destination.Surrounded by fields and mountains, you wake up in the morning to the sound of birds, and at night it is surprisingly quiet.The kitchen is stocked with tools for a lifestyle that includes fermentation, such as miso and pickles, which have been passed down in this region.There is nothing special; "everyday life" is the best treat this house offers. We used furniture inherited from local homes and flooring from a demolished temple.It is a space where the time of this land remains, with its scratches and tree rings intact. Our accommodation is standardly room-only. Upon request, we also offer experiences such as campfires, plant dyeing, and making local home-cooked meals (reservation required).The hosts are locals who have lived here for a long time. The bath, made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) When you step into the bathroom your whole body is enveloped in the scent of the wood. The house is also very close to the ocean.
