Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, a town blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, with a wealth of natural areas such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and marten, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy "living" in the space. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy BBQ and campfires without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, and golf during the green season, and as a base for winter sports during the snow season. We also offer a celebration cake service for customers celebrating their birthdays or anniversaries.Please check with me in advanced.

Welcome to the sub! Entire house with a gentle forest sauna [for families and couples only]

A special family reward time in the tranquility of the forest. The private sauna is comfortable, even if you are a beginner in the sauna, so you can relax and prepare your body and mind. With local rice, eggs, and authentic retort curry that you can enjoy without making or thinking about it, your mom is easy.There is also a large TV and card game in the building, so you can enjoy your children. And on weekdays, we'd love to stay for two nights. On the first day, you'll get tired of moving and enjoy the luxury of doing nothing on the second day.It is a special treat for spending time with your family on weekdays. Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Rock Forest Hokuriku Izawa [BBQ in the fireplace in the forest & hot spring bath fed by a source spring on a rock]

A 1000 square meter private villa with 7 spaces. The entire "Rock Forest" has seven main concepts. We offer each "way of spending time". After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. Surrounded by nature, you can relax and enjoy an extraordinary time. < Winter season November-March > The outdoor bath is closed during the winter months.

The combination of our luxurious western beds and the natural hot spring will ensure you are fully rejuvenated after each day. The lodge has 3 units available for rent. Vaisala-cozy townhouse @Karasawa

Vaisala is a cozy home - perfect for small families or small groups of friends. Village center is an 8-minute walk away.  Karasawa ski ticket office, feeder chair lift, SpArena, bus stop to Nagasaka Gondola, and nearest onsen are all only a 5 minute walk away. While there are some restaurants nearby,  the closest bakery is only a minute down the path.
