These hosts made my nepal trip ! Such special people, patan latitpur is such a beautiful place for anyone wanting to explore the culture Not as busy as tamel and other tourist places that can be overwhelming The guesthouse is so beautiful perfect view from balcony connected to room beautiful place to sit and watch the town go by Breakfast is delicious and coffee and tea Hosts always offering food drinks or anything you need so welcoming, would recommend to anyone staying in Kathmandu

This charming, cozy room was located in a gated complex. There is a kitchen and bar located directly on the property that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef Nir will also be opening a bakery very soon. The location is one block behind the stupa and there is no shortage of restaurants and shopping. Sonam was exceptionally helpful in responding to my questions.

What shall I say about this place! It was like I was with my family; caring and protective hosts, delicious foods, local traditions, and the company of the little ones of the family unforgettable. I usually travel from city to city when I am in a new country, however, staying with this family fulfilled me so much that I did not feel the need to go anywhere else- so, I spent an entire month that flew quickly in Kathmandu. The house is located in a local area, away from the noise of the rather touristy Thamel where you see more tourists than locals. The Kapan monastery area is the best to stay at. I would recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Kathmandu as it is a genuine homestay experience.

Fantastic hosts!!! 10/10! I was only in Nepal for a short time this trip but they made it very easy to find everything I desired to do and direct me in the right direction! The food was great and the room/bed was very comfortable. Not to mention the host also has their own expedition company which I will be using when I come back! If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Katmandu I fully recommend them!

Smriti's villa is very beautiful! The house is in a quiet villa area. The house has three floors. We are in a separate bedroom on the second floor. The house is very clean. My friend and I stayed for 6 consecutive days. Smriti also made delicious breakfast and dinner for us! She is very enthusiastic and cheerful, making us feel at home. Every day living here is very happy. Thank you Smriti for your warm hospitality.

Babin is an extremely hospitable host. I only stayed at his place for 1 night as a transit to Pokhara but Babin picked me up from the airport and gave a good room with all amenities to have a good night rest. I also got a good breakfast in the morning and he called a cab for me to get to the airport on time.

Our stay here was wonderful! It is a small paradise, a beautiful place among the fields around Bhaktapur. It is built with a lot of dedication and eye for atmosphere and detail. There is delicious cooking by Mohan and Mohan and the lovely woman (whose name I still don't know so well) are always in front of you to help you. I would recommend this stay to anyone! (Except if you have difficulty walking)

I have no words to describe how wonderful Rara and Zubin were as hosts. They are very friendly and make guests feel like family. They even gave us a airport pick up/ drop and even took us to local sightseeing. Hospitality was top notch. The facility is a room at their house, and staying there felt like family. At any given opportunity, I would consider visiting and staying at their facility again.

The place is right in the middle of Thamel. So it is very easy to move around. It is a sixth floor without lift. For me this was ok. Very polite and helpful host.

Tenz’s place is amazing. It’s very tastefully made and has all the amenities one could expect. It’s view right outside the window was amazing. We were traveling with our pet so it was great because it had a lot of open space outside for him to walk. Tenz was really quick with responses and made sure we didn’t face any issues. Thank you so much.

Raju is a hospitable, communicative, and attentive host. He took great care of me when I got sick and even invited us for an incredible home-cooked meal. The stay was an impeccable value, and everything matched the description perfectly. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay in Boudhanath--close to the stupa, quiet location (which is rare for the area), and beautiful clean rooms.

Clean and comfortable apartment close to main sights and bus station. Highly recommend for the couples going to Kathmandu.

The location is in Durbar square with a nice rooftop and delicious breakfast provided. Just next door is The Muglan, that had daily lovely life music that ends at 9pm, that you can watch from the rooftop or go and enjoy a delicious meal and a good vibe. Special thanks to Suman who helped me book my bus to Chitwan, to the lovely reception lady, Punam who was always cheerful and supportive and the kitchen team for the delicious breakfast. Highly recommended and I will come again while in Bhaktapur 🙏✨🌞

The food is also very clean and cozy, the only thing is that the hot water is not enough, but everything else is perfect to stay in a very good homestay!

We had a great time there. The location is excellent really in the heart of the old city. The room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Quiet at night. A little bit of noise in the morning but we loved waking up with the locals and enjoy the day. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We will come back to his guesthouse when we visit bakhtapur again. Highly recommended

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Soham's Temperate Ecotel in the heart of Thamel, Kathmandu, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! ✨ From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with the warmest hospitality. The room was Sparkling clean, thoughtfully decorated, and offered a cozy, peaceful vibe amidst the buzz of Thamel. The bed was super comfortable, and the facilities were just perfect – especially the beautiful rooftop seating area! ☕️🌸 Location-wise, it couldn't be better: - Garden of Dreams– just a 5-minute walk! 🌺 - Durbar Square– a 15-minute walk through colorful streets and local markets! ⛩️ - Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)– a short 10-minute taxi ride! 🐒 - Pashupatinath Temple– about 20 minutes by taxi! - Boudhanath Stupa – a scenic 25-minute drive! 🛕 - Tons of amazing cafes, restaurants, and shops Getting around was super easy – taxis and bike rentals are readily available. The staff at Soham’s place were always ready to help with anything.

Definitely not your conventional hostel. And a truly unforgettable stay. I'd heard many good things about this place from some friends who stayed in their dorm rooms, but thought to go for some more privacy so I could work on my writing. If anything, this place is a fusion of the best from hostels- the social aspect- and the best from boutique hotels- high quality of service with a high degree of comfort. Not only was the bed extremely comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful (a rare thing in Nepal for this price I've found!), and the room spacious. The balcony/ rooftop also added a lovely touch to be able to enjoy the starry night sky with some privacy. While I was there, there was a BBQ over a bonfire in the main courtyard- an all-you-can eat event that attracted both locals and fellow travelers alike. One of the highlights of my stay, I had some wonderful conversations with the girls who run the hostel on topics ranging from social enterprise to consciousness, global cuisines, travel and beyond. Don't hesitate to stay here. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Absolutely loved this stay in the heart of Thamel - kathmandu's trendy district. The rooms were cosy and well equipped. There is a well decor'd rooftop space that it's super chill; we spent a lot of time there. Amit, the owner, was a fun conversationalist and we thank him for hanging with us. Thanks Amit for having us at our fun hotel!
