We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this beautiful villa in Zanzibar. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting, stunning ocean views, and the warm hospitality of the host. The private pool was a dream, and we loved waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the complimentary breakfast on the spacious terrace each morning. The staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the meals prepared with local ingredients Highly recommended—we can't wait to return!

The stay with Kurtis was incredible. The place was absolutely beautiful (a real paradise). We truly felt at home. Kurtis was extremely responsive to everything we needed. We stayed for a month and worked remotely from the home with no problems at all. A great getaway for the digital nomad or someone wanting to disconnect from it all. 6 stars if I could give that. Spacious Mansion - surrounded by a lush, shady garden - with beautiful, large bedrooms. Downstairs and upstairs you can choose one of the sofa-areas to relax, read a book or socialise with other guests. There is a table to have breakfast or to sit down with the laptop. Strategically placed are several ACs and fans in all areas of the house. If you want to unwind outside, you can sit on the private balcony, also equipped with comfortable large sofas, and enjoy the breeeze. The compound is accessible via good roads. In the close neighborhood you find elegant hotels and restaurants like the Protea Hotel with historical Mbweni Ruins. Many thanks to Mila and her team - dada Fadhila & mzee Khamis - who have been around and assisted us competently with tasks like calling Bajaji to drive to town, helping with the luggage, giving good advices, proactively ensuring the guests are entirely happy!

Thanks to Donatella we experienced Africa in an absolutely authentic way, she was always available and ready to meet every request as far as possible in a place where the comforts we have every day at home are not as obvious as you might think. Exceptional staff, exciting excursions. You can dine in the common room on request, Donatella is an excellent cook.

Me and my 12 year old son were leaving Tanzania and had a late flight out of Zanzibar. We wanted a place to rest before our long flight back to the US so we chose to spend the afternoon/evening at RiRi's place. She was very accomodating and was a huge help with organizing transportation to/from Stonetown and the Airport. It was a nice ending to our trip and we really appreciated her hospitality. Her home was beautiful and absolutely spotless. After traveling for weeks it was really nice to see a living room with a couch and a TV with Netflix. We would most definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay at Noreen’s place. It’s near every tourists’ attraction and also there is a great local restaurant called Lukmaan at 1 min walk where you can eat at super affordable prices and still have great tasty food. Thanks to the housekeepers for maintaining the place clean.
