Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Oakhurst

Christina’s place has a very calm, peaceful ambience and made us feel right at home. Everything we needed was at our fingertips-from water bottles already in the fridge to tissues in every main room. We didn’t come with kids, but this would be the perfect place to come as a family with children. It was a quick 25 min journey to the South Gate of Yosemite, which made things very convenient. We also brought enough food for most of the days we were there, and having the full kitchen already stocked up with supplies was very helpful. Also, on the one day we did eat out, it only took a few minutes to drive out to Smokehouse 41 and get some ice cream from Reimer’s in town. The location was really fantastic, and the house was pleasant and peaceful to stay in. It was definitely clean, homey, and comfortable. If we come back up to Yosemite, we would definitely love staying at Christina’s again!

My family and I had a great time staying here! The home was located close by to restaurants and things to do. It was clean, organized and had everything we could want/need. If we ever come back to the Oakhurst/Yosemite area my family and I would love to return!

My family and I had an amazing time at this beautifully secluded gem. The home was spotless and fully stocked. We enjoyed our morning coffee by the rivers edge and evening stargazing each day. So peaceful and mesmerizing! There are plenty of hiking trails nearby, and this home is very close to Yosemite NP. Tina was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making our experience smooth from beginning to end. Some incredible memories were made and we look forward to staying here again. We really enjoyed our stay here. Breathtaking views to enjoy night and day. The house is relaxing and the views are endless! It was incredibly clean and well stocked with supplies, games, Wifi, and a BBQ. Very close to Bass Lake and Yosemite National Park. The highlight was soaking in the jacuzzi under the stars! Huge bonus was that it was dog friendly! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was great! The hosts covered everything in their house rules and were extra gracious by leaving little amenities we can use like extra toothbrushes. They were responsive as well. My family agreed we’d book here again in the future.

We were a group that included ages two and a half to 69 years of age. Parents, grandparents and beautiful grandchildren. The layout at Rachel's house was so perfect for this wide range of guests. We had the suite that was still very connected to the house yet had a degree of privacy from the energetic going ons of the grandchildren. It was just perfect for us! The patio, hot tub, grill and terrific glider chairs were a wonderful setting for us to come together and reflect on all the beautiful things we did that day

This was an awesome place to stay! We really enjoyed it and don’t have anything negative to say. Would definitely stay again. The area felt safe and there were some nice dining options nearby. Roughly 30 minutes from the park but you have to drive another hour or so once you’re in the park to Yosemite Valley or Glacier Point. With that being said, I think this is probably one of the best places you could stay for the price/location!

Polina's place is exactly like it was described. It was perfect for my last minute, overnight stay. She is a fantastic host and probably one of the most responsive ones I have ever had. I highly recommend this and her other properties based on how nice this one was and how good a host Polina is.

We visited Yosemite but couldn’t find accommodation inside the park — if you’re in the same situation, this place is a great option after about an hour’s drive out! There’s a restaurant downstairs that looked amazing — we were too tired to try it, but definitely recommend others to check it out. The place looked just like the photos, the A/C worked great, and it was perfect for cooking. The area was a bit noisy, but we fell asleep right away so it didn’t really bother us — plus, they provide earplugs! Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Yosemite!

Had a wonderful stay! Cute and cozy apartment. Exactly what we needed for a trip centered around hiking and fishing in Yosemite. Easy to walk around the corner to restaurants and shops. Drive into Yosemite was a little over an hour from here. Would stay again!

We had reserved almost 3 weeks out for a short stay and was impressed with the easy reservation, clear instructions, smooth check-in/check-out process, and came to a very immaculate place. It was exactly as described, everything worked well, and the place gave off such an incredible homey feel. The office was very welcoming and helpful. We were even sent a text a few hours ahead to informed us that their maintenence person called in sick, therefore they would not have anyone at a certain designated time and provided action steps should it be needed. Luckily there was nothing needed, but the proactive communication was very considerate and appreciated! Thank you for a very smooth and flexible experience! We will definitely be back!

Great option for going to Yosemite!

This place is beautiful, peaceful, and so much fun. It was a great place to stay with our family. We loved the pool and the pickleball court. It was also very convenient to drive to Yosemite. Thank you Bruce for being a great host!

Amazing home! We were four families and all of us including the kids loved the stay. Lots of options from indoor & outdoor games, to BBQ grill, to Jacuzzi to projector to campfire to many many more... Home was like new, very clean, fully loaded rooms - kitchen, dining, living, bedrooms and bathrooms. Hari was a great host, very proactive, responsive and flexible to requests. Highly recommend and if we are back to Yosemite, this will be the first choice!

Great place for our 2 families to get together. Loved the game room downstairs for the kids to play, and loved sitting out on the deck with the propane fire pit/ hot tub. There is a small separate camp site a ways down on the property, but we felt very private and peaceful at the house. Loved staying here and drove to see Yosemite during our stay.

The house is located on a beautiful mountain top with complete facilities, including a children's playground, game room, etc. The kitchen utensils and seasonings are complete, making it very suitable for family gatherings and vacations. It is a half-hour drive from Yosemite.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – A Magical Stay in Mariposa! We had an absolutely unforgettable 3-night stay at this beautiful home on Triangle Road (House #3580). From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in nature – spotting deer, birds, and other wildlife was a daily delight. The cozy jacuzzi under the cold Mariposa night sky was pure bliss. The house itself is a dream — spacious, immaculately maintained, and stocked with all the essentials. The master bedroom was hands down the highlight, and the beds throughout the home were incredibly comfortable. We spent our evenings enjoying the home theatre, bonding around the warm indoor fireplace, and relaxing near the outdoor fireplace by the lake — it was surreal. And let’s not forget our adorable cat companions, who truly made us feel at home. This place was the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and family time. If we could give it 10 stars, we would. Highly recommended if you are looking for jungle vibes and peace from city life!

Gina’s home was beautiful and perfect for a big family and still have your privacy. The house has plenty of space and is very secluded no and private. They do a great job at tailoring to your fur puppies and have accommodations for them. The patio is so large and has everything you need. I highly recommend to stay here for the perfect getaway!
