Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

We are a cosmopolitan family with two children (4 & 8) and at home in the beautiful Glarus mountains. Our new guest apartment is centrally located in a quiet location. Furnished with a bed 160 wide, shower with bath towels, kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Kitchen table, cabinet, Toilet in the stairwell. Garden with seating. Wi-Fi, coffee and tea are available.

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. Surrounded by an idyllic garden with an inviting pergola, our house is the perfect retreat for nature lovers. Right outside the front door you will find hiking trails and in winter you can look forward to the nearby ski resorts. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

The cozy accommodation is combined with an older farm, which is rather remote and surrounded by forest and meadow with a view of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area you can enjoy the tranquility, as a leisure opportunity there are many sights and sports facilities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the Speer – King of the Prealps.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, beautiful view of the mountains, small garden seating area, table tennis table, close to shopping, bus stop, walking, hiking and cycling trails directly from the house.
