A great time with the family in this cute, perfectly located house. Everything is nicely decorated and the pool is a real plus! Perfect amenities for a lovely stay. Great hospitality and great professionalism of the team that manages the property! Very nice and efficient staff. We really recommend this beautiful home. We will definitely go back!

We had a great time . House is specious with nice terrace. Everything was as described. 5 min drive to the beach , 20.min drive to nearest town Obidos with plenty of shops. Neighbourhood was so quiet during the day and night we could easily relax at the swimming pool. Thanks

As in the description, this is an old country house with plenty of charm, not a beige new place filled with IKEA furniture. The location is quiet and beautiful, between the sea and the lagoon, though quite remote if you’re looking for restaurants, shops and bars. This suited us just fine! We spent a few days over the new year, with plenty of walks throughout the day and cosy evenings by the fireplace. A few things could surely be updated, but that also made us feel right at home, as if staying with family. Diogo was a wonderful host and I’d recommended his place to anyone looking for a little home away from home. One last detail: I’m sure our son would have loved the tree house, had he been old enough to climb it ;)

My reservation was last time due work reason, and now I'm willing to comeback for vacations! The puppies of the house (Hermes and Nikita) are very kind and loves cuddles, definitely nice to have them around. The place is well placed. It's in the middle between Obidos and Peniche, perfect if you want to go to the beach or to visit the medieval city. The house is big and comfortable and the host is nice and welcoming. Absolutely recommended!

I arrived at Bert’s on the day of the national power outage which complicated matters a little (phone signal etc) however Teressa was an absolute star and helped me get settled into Casa Lavanda quickly. After a couple of days in a ‘dodgy’ Lisbon hotel it was wonderful to arrive at Bert’s spacious, peaceful and spotlessly clean house. It was sheer bliss to have a hot shower and then sink into a very comfortable bed! Casa Lavanda is wonderfully equipped, everything is supplied to make your stay a true home-from-home. There is easy access to towns, countryside and beaches - all within a short 15-30 minute drive. I would have no hesitation in recommending Casa Lavanda to all.

We really enjoyed staying in this house. There was plenty of space and fantastic that each bedroom has its own en suite. Olga had presented the house beautifully and Carlos was very responsive to queries. The pool is a great size and lots of comfy seating outside - unfortunately the weather isn't particularly warm even in August so we weren't able to enjoy these as much as we'd have liked. Shame that the gym was awaiting repairs. Lots of great beaches and towns to visit in the local area. Recommended.

The house is really comfortable, with outdoor spaces at both sides and a very convenient indoor deck by the pool, perfect to accommodate for the variable weather of the area. Everything is as described and the house was extremely clean when we arrived. There was a minor problem with the drainage system and Susanne quickly acted to get it solved efficiently. The views are stunning and waking up on the large bedroom in the top floor is a wonderful experience. We were concerned about the stair going up from the living room, because my mum is quite old and she’s getting clumsy, but the one outside is just fine (and safer), and using it as the main connection between the two floors is a perfectly fine option. It’s an ideal place to unwind and spend time with friends and family. I would definitely repeat.

a beautiful home in a quiet and wonderful enclave. The sunsets are dreamy. very spacious with everything you need to be at home. Close to the beach , the lagoon, and beautiful forest. beautiful. Vasco exceeded all our expectations as a host, kind , helpful, attentive, available at all times and very helpful for a problem that was presented to us with the car. He got involved , we look for atelier , replacement car and I make it easy for us to keep things both before the entrance and after the check out time. We took a Friend. We will be back for the next vacation without any hesitation. Very grateful

Claire and James are the definition of perfect hosts. Extremely helpful, nice and welcoming. They made us feel right at home. It is a very nice living space, complete with all necessary amenities, plus hot showers, an extra large bed and a well-equipped kitchen - and the wall mounted smart TV was most welcome! This was our favourite place we have stayed. Our dog's too!

spacious and comfortable and right across from the beach! can't get a better location, literally above and next to many surf shops and schools and walking to grocery store. the host is very responsive. I wish that for the money they provided coffee and dishwasher soap... otherwise really great.

We had an amazing stay at Albert’s apartment in Peniche! As a group of four geology students exploring the region, this place was perfect for us. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great—close to the coast and the incredible geological sites we came to study. Albert was an outstanding host—super friendly, responsive, and always happy to help with local tips and recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Peniche. Thanks again, Albert!

João's place was really great. From personal check in to glass of red wine, the hospitality of him and his family living on the property was a dream. The place itself was clean and very cozy and also the courtyard invited you to relax. From the apartment you can quickly get to Lourinhã a small sweet village with many owner-operated shops. By car you can also get to nearby places and beaches, which were really beautiful. (E.G. Santa Cruz, Peniche, Nazare). We would have liked to stay longer.

Very good apartment, according to the photos. Responsive and proactive host. The train passed, but it was not bothering, infrequency and noise. A quiet, quiet neighborhood. It had all the stuff and clean barbecue grills. Very good bed. We advise you to buy water for consumption, as tap water is hard, proper to the region. We will certainly return if we visit S. Martinho again.

Diana is a super host, very friendly and attentive - we felt right at home. Our stay was excellent, the little cottage where we stayed was spotless and the garden/land around it just marvellous. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the country air and having the sea right next door. We will be back for sure!

AMAZING! after a week of staying here we were sad we had to leave. Its a beautiful and peaceful place. Perfect to escape everything and really get to relax. The hosts and all the animals are lovely and very friendly. We didn’t have a car but with bolt it was super affordable to take trips to the beach and villages nearby. Definitely coming back and recommending this to everyone. 🫶

Incredible 4-day stay with incredible hosts, with wonderful views, peace and quiet, great for a few days of rest or to visit the localities around Turcifal. The location is excellent and relatively close to everything, beaches (Ericeira), Mafra, Sintra. Mrs. Lucília and Mr. Armando are incredible people, with a huge heart, ready to welcome and share as if we were family and undoubtedly make this stay the best there can be. It's a great place for celebrations and time with friends and family. Despite the fact that these are holiday cabins, I was really surprised by cleanliness of all the rooms. Kitchen, toilet, bedrooms, everything was very clean and smelled good. Sofia was very friendly and responsive. Thank you for your hospitality, I would love to recommend this place to everyone!

We had a very pleasant stay, with extremely kind and very caring hosts. The accommodation is very convenient and functional. The pool is a plus not to be overlooked! and the wine of Armendo is delicious!!! We recommend +++, go there with your eyes closed!
