Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Óbidos Municipality

Jane was a terrific person to deal with as we planned our return visit to Foz for our anniversary. Very quick to respond to our queries and offer up suggestions for our trip. Very hands on about the booking, even though she doesn’t live in the local area. Thanks Jane!!

Hoje ao sair, o nosso pensamento foi instantanêo: temos de ver se podemos ficar mais tempo. A estadia foi 5 estrelas, comforto, paz, beleza, tudo impecável, limpo e arranjado. Foi fantástico poder levar a nossa cadela e ela andar ao ar livre mas sempre protegida. Iremos voltar sem dúvida, ficamos apaixonados pelo local, tem tudo o que é necessário para uns dias de "relax". E o Sr. Andrey foi sempre muito simpático e ajudou-nos sempre desde o momento em que chegamos. Obrigada! Ps - A piscina também é simplesmente incrivel.

Such a relaxing place for us to call home for a few nights during our busy Portugal travels. The view is beautiful and Steve and Liesa’s home has everything you need. There are plenty of sights to see within a one hour drive. Everything is just as described and Steve and Liesa are kind, helpful hosts. Hopefully we will be back for another stay.

We and our three kids spent a fortnight over Easter at Klemens' lovely house. It was was easy to find - a keycode for the door meant we could arrive late without worrying about meeting a local agent. The house was exactly as described - easy parking for our VW van outside and a lovely quiet location. Both house and garden were spotless and entirely matched the description. Gardeners arrived part way through our stay to do the lawn, and cleaners visited halfway through to clean floors and replace linen. The house was a very good size for the five of us, and with a bathroom per bedroom we didn't have queues in the mornings! The garden was lovely and peaceful, the kids enjoyed the pool, which is larger than many around that area - it is more than just a plunge pool, short lengths were perfectly possible. Obidos is a short drive for supermarket and great restaurants, plus the restaurant on the lagoon is five minutes away and AMAZING. We will definitely be visiting again.

Una casa con encanto, una pena lloviera y no poder disfrutar del jardín y la barbacoa. La chimenea caldeaba el salón y la habitación superior, pero en el resto un poquito de frío por la noche que solucionamos con un radiador eléctrico que había. Hemos estado muy bien en general, no faltaba de nada. Recomendable 100%, muchas gracias Francisca.

Maison très bien agréable. Très belle vue et à deux pas de l’océan. Excellente communication avec Judite. Le plus pour nous c’est l’acceptation de notre chien. Nous avons déjà réservé pour l’an prochain !

La zona en la que se encuentra la preciosa casa de Elisabete es increíble. La Laguna de Óbidos en una zona perfecta para la práctica de deportes acuáticos, largos paseos por la playa y el descubrimiento de sus alrededores. La casa, con todo su equipamiento, es un verdadero remanso de paz para pasar unos días de tranquilidad con familia o amigos. Elisabete, siempre pendiente de todo, ha sido un host excelente. Volveremos!

Um lugar incrível, super simpáticos! Pet friendly (adorámos a gata). Apesar de não termos usufruído da piscina e jacuzzi por ter estado mau tempo, ficou na nossa lista de locais a revisitar!

Geweldig mooie, ruime en comfortabele woning rustig gelegen aan de golfbaan. De woning is goed uitgerust, van alle gemakken voorzien en heel schoon! Er zijn 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Voor de koelere avonden heeft de woning een fantastische pellet haard, gezellig en comfortabel. De woning is centraal gelegen aan de Zilverkust. Op loopafstand zijn prachtige stranden. Diverse leuke plaatsen zijn dichtbij. Binnen 1 uur...Lissabon, Sintra, Ericeira, Mafra, Peniche, Baleal, Foz de Arelho, Alcobaca, Nazare, Obidos etc etc. Langs de klifkusten en in de omgeving kun je mooie wandeltochten maken. Voor liefhebbers van zee, mooie stranden, natuur en cultuur is hier alles aanwezig!! Niet langer nadenken maar doen!!

O apartamento está localizado numa zona que parece um autêntico paraíso em Portugal. No coração de um campo de golfe, destaca-se o verde envolvente em contraste com o azul claro do mar. A partir do apartamento do Luís – extremamente bem situado, limpo e com todas as condições para acomodar confortavelmente uma família – fizemos várias caminhadas pela natureza limpa e selvagem da área. O anfitrião foi de uma atenção irrepreensível e sempre muito disponível. Fez tudo para que a nossa estadia fosse memorável, incluindo alguns mimos de boas-vindas que nos conquistaram logo à chegada. Beautiful house and terrace, very spacious. We loved the sauna, bbq and pool but were a bit surprised that only half the pool cover came off. This was fine though and worth having to keep the pool lovely and warm. The surrounding area is quiet on a golf and beach resort. With a walkable beach but you have to walk along cliffs to find the access down to it. Sadly we had terrible weather so travelled out of the area a lot but can imagine it would be lovely in sunshine. We found it a little tricky to find arriving in the dark as the sat nav doesn’t recognise the address, perhaps as it’s on a resort. Would recommend if this is what you’re looking for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trudi's place. I will definitely stay again if i am back in the area. Many thanks!

Couldn't recommend this house enough! It exceeded expectations. It was super clean, modern, spacious and had everything we needed. Aurore was a great host! She was friendly, informative and was quick to respond if we had any questions. Will definitely be back ☺️

Hemos pasado unos días muy buenos en este alojamiento. Lo único malo ha sido la ubicación, no tiene nada cerca. La casa muy cómoda y los anfitriones muy recomendados.

We had a great time . House is specious with nice terrace. Everything was as described. 5 min drive to the beach , 20.min drive to nearest town Obidos with plenty of shops. Neighbourhood was so quiet during the day and night we could easily relax at the swimming pool. Thanks

Lovely home, lovely location with fantastic views to the lagoon. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Olga had provided us with all the information we needed for eating out, shopping, walks etc. We also availed of her offer of bicycles to explore the area. For those travellers like me who are aware of the damaging effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMFs) and for those who are hypersensitive, the house was between two masts, both at some distance so their effects on health were less damaging than many other locations in the area (10-100 mW/m2 with safe being below 1 mW/m2). However, all the houses in the locality have smart meters. The radiaiton is most felt inside the main bedroom (1000 mW/m2 every minute or so). The router in the house can be switched off when not in use which was much appreciated.

As in the description, this is an old country house with plenty of charm, not a beige new place filled with IKEA furniture. The location is quiet and beautiful, between the sea and the lagoon, though quite remote if you’re looking for restaurants, shops and bars. This suited us just fine! We spent a few days over the new year, with plenty of walks throughout the day and cosy evenings by the fireplace. A few things could surely be updated, but that also made us feel right at home, as if staying with family. Diogo was a wonderful host and I’d recommended his place to anyone looking for a little home away from home. One last detail: I’m sure our son would have loved the tree house, had he been old enough to climb it ;)

Beautiful villa, with so many items in the house to make it feel like home. It was more than spacious enough for our family of 9. This included a wheelchair user & 2 babies. The town was quite a walk away, especially as we had a wheelchair user and young children. A car is recommended.

Una joya de sitio. La casa es super acojedora, reformada y decorada con mucho cariño y estilo y perfectamente equipada. Hay de todo! Es entrar en la casa y sentirse en casa. El jardin es amplio y muy cuidado. El lugar es muy tranquilo, con sus vistas a la ría y cerca de Ovidos y las playas. Seguramente repetiremos y lo recomendaremos a nuestros amigos. A Isabel foi uma anfitriã sempre disponível, atenta e preocupada. A casa corresponde as fotografias, confortável, sentimo-nos acolhidos 100%, sentimo-nos em casa. O jardim é fechado, com relva, e com uma mesa para conviver e comer nos dias quentes. Para quem tem filhos é um ótimo espaço para eles correrem e brincarem. Tem imensos jogos, e atividades. Nós adoramos, A repetir com certeza :)

This is a great and spacious 3 bedroom appartment by the sea, with access to a heated pool. The 5 of us loved the place for our two weeks stay there. The agency the manage the rental for Eric (owner) is very responsive and adapted to our delayed flight when we got there. They also had bought some fruits, bread, juice, coffee and tea for us before our arrival so we had something to eat for breakfast. I'd definitely stay there again!
