The apartment, which has its own independent access, is located under our main accommodation (we live just above). You enter through a terrace on which there is garden furniture in the summer. The accommodation includes an equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave...), a living room in which there is a 2-seater sofa bed, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The place is great for 4 people but we can accommodate up to 6 people, you'll just lose a little comfort.

The perfect stay to get away for a peaceful few days in the beautiful Belgian countryside. A lovely home with a garden that backs onto the forest for walks. Great room and Catherine was a really friendly, helpful and generous host. The perfect place to relax, I highly recommend!

Cozy room in the heart of the woods

had a lovely stay. It was perfect. the family are lovely and I felt very welcomed around them. They have a young child and it was delightful watching the family enjoying the house alongside myself. Breakfast was amazing and huge, definitely book if you have the opportunity. the area is very peaceful and local walks are lovely. Only thing to be aware of is the bedroom door is frosted glass which made me nervous when I first arrived but quickly Charline reassured me that the whole part of the house was private to myself so it wasn't an issue. The airport is not easy to access for transfers and I believe I may have been victim to a tourist scam as I got a local taxi from airport to the Airbnb and was charged 63 EURO which made me sad, so make sure you prebook! The host are able to offer pick up and return when they are available which is more more reasonable price of 25 euro.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is old and characterful. We were grateful to use the kitchen. Francoise is a lovely host. I had a very pleasant walk along the ex railway line / cycle track, just a short distance from the house. My only negative comment is that the photo of the house in the listing is from the back garden, and the front looks completely different. It would be helpful to have a photo of the front of the house from the street, so guests know what to look out for.
