The most unique feature of this inn is its one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP from design to production, featuring a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can only have here, surrounded by the gentle warmth of a wood-burning stove. Inside the room, there is also an irori (traditional hearth) characteristic of a traditional Japanese house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot or grilling skewers while sitting around the irori (traditional hearth). *Please bring your own ingredients and cooking utensils, such as skewers. This house is built on the quiet seaside in Shodoshima Town. The house was built just for dusk watching the sea and the sunset.Therefore, I apologize for the large number of stairs on the terrace, but I can never call it barrier-free.(I will do my best to help with my luggage, etc.) However, at the end of the high terrace, there is a glittering, calm and beautiful sea in Setouchi, and a kane-colored sunset that changes faces every day. The interior is accessed by climbing the terrace stairs.It is not handicap accessible. Please be sure to accompany small children or adults when climbing up and down the stairs. We have 2 electric bicycles and 5 bicycles available. They are available for free to guests. You can also take your bike on the ferry to Naoshima and Teshima. Insects may enter the house depending on the season, as the garden is close to the old house. We are taking measures, but please refrain from booking if you are not good with insects.
