The house at Bakken is located on the narrow strip of land between the sea and the mountains in Ullsfjorden. Here you can enjoy quiet days with your family or challenge yourself on short or long trips. From the house there are nice views to the fjord and the mountains in all directions. Here are several places where there is a good access to the Lyngsalpan landscape area, with Jiehkkevárri (Jæggevarre) at 1834 meters above sea level. There are nice conditions for seeing Northern Lights in winter because there are no street lights that disturb

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
