Casa Aisir - Private Double Room

IziRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Alexa and Daniel's beautiful farm for 3 nights. They were wonderful and welcoming hosts and were happy to show us around the place as well as have our privacy. Homemade breakfast was available each morning and delicious. Bed was super comfy and shared bathroom was easy access across the hall. 5 minutes drive from the Sandwood Bay carpark and the beach next to the farm is also stunning. Couldn't recommend it more!

Raven Cottage

JoanneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Raven cottage was wonderfully quirky, full of character with slightly rustic charm. The bed was very comfy and after a day walking along the beautiful beaches and headlands I slept really well. The kitchen was appreciated with everything you could need.

Handa pod in scottish highlands.

IanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This pod was an amazing find and one of surprisingly few options available in this area. Everything was as expected from the photos/description and overall very well equipped. A radiator plus a separate AC unit will keep the pod comfortable no matter the season. Enough appliances for basic cooking if required too (though if you're only staying a couple of night, no real need to). We stayed with our toddler (brought our own travel cot) and there was just about enough space to make it work. Our advice would be try to avoid staying in this area on a weekend as a lot of stuff locally is closed e.g. the Handa Island Ferry and Crofters Kitchen restaurant are both closed on Sunday plus the Shorehouse kitchen is closed Saturday and Sunday. The Campsite in Scourie is the closest amenities including a shop that sells freshly baked pizza and a bar. Lots of amazing walks, beaches and views close by. Overall, would recommend for anyone coming to the area.

Sandwoodway

We thoroughly enjoyed at Sandwoodway Cottage. The cottage was well-equiped and was an excellent base for exploring northwest Sutherland. We look forward to returning.

It was lovely to meet Monica! She welcomed us very warmly and made us feel at home. She had great recommendations. The view from the room was superb, and the breakfast was amazing. Monica was also very responsive. We highly recommend staying with her! Many thanks!

Munro House, Oldshoremore

Chandan KumarRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Munro House will always remain etched in my memory for how beautiful and remote the location is . Every morning or evening you will get a view of an alpaca , sheep , cow , goat which is very exciting for the kids . My kids were a bit upset because they could not see the donkeys. The house was very cozy , clean and comfortable. I had great sleep . The rooms are spacious and lot of toys and books for small kids to remain entertained. Overall our stay was amazing .
