If you love the outdoors and want to visit a place still untouched by the commercialisation that is happening everywhere else go to Mdumbi beach. What to expect? The hosts Lu and Otto are rock stars, more than adequate backpackers accommodations, a beautiful beach and amazing pools in the river for swimming. The road from Nqeleni has amazing views but is not for those with gravel issues so be prepared for that. Don't expect? Excess and opulence, it's not necessary and there is no place for it. I will definitely be going back...

Judy and her place are excellent with a great view and just best to near by spots. She is not just a great host but a great chef and tour guide. I want to especially also talk about the great food that she and her team put on the table for the guests. they accomodate to every request you put forward. Amazing experience always book for more than 1 day.

I booked a week's stay at Babwas place for my father and he enjoyed it. Stated the rooms were spotless every day he got home, he found the location convenient to where he was working for that week. We recommend you give her place a try if you're in the area
