Situated 3 miles from Kirkwall Town centre, with country walks from our doorstep, we offer the ideal spot to explore Orkney. We have free off road parking and an outdoor drying space. Please note: this property is accessed via stairs and no lifts etc are available.

A stay at this flat gives you easy access on foot to Kirkwall's town centre and all it has to offer. If you are taking a car to explore further afield, there is also on site free parking. I hope that you enjoy your time in Orkney and that the flat has everything you need. The flat is literally just around the corner from the fantastic Rendall's Bakery, the Willow's Chinese Takeaway and chip shop, and the Wellpark Garden Centre and Willows Coffee shop!

Ruairidh was very quick at responding to messages & very helpful. We had the pleasure of meeting him. Very friendly & helpful. Couldn't do enough to help us. His house was immaculate & very tastefully furnished. Very comfortable bed & pillows with a really good shower! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need to make a meal etc. We will definitely be recommending Ruairidh's house to our family & friends. So well located whether you are on foot or have a vehicle. We would definitely stay again

We alway like a place very central but quiet and the Pilot Berth was right nest door to cafe an exquisite food store and supermarket. However, the big Tesco was only 15 mins walk. There was parking right outside the door in the CO-OP car park

This is a beautiful cottage that has been renovated and extended to an extremely high standard. It is a quiet location close enough to all the main sites on the Mainland of Orkney. However, it is also the type of place where one can stay all day indoors enjoying the views or walk locally along the beautiful coastline. The cottage is very well-equipped, and beautifully and thoughtfully furnished.

Langwell was my wee haven. Very private and my dog loved to sit looking out the front window to the amazing view while I just loved the treat of coffee in bed while looking out to sea. Very clean and warm and well stocked with tea and coffee as well as the full complement of apps in the telly so nice to snuggle in watching a film when Orkney decides to be blustery!! Would really recommend- great value all round!!
