House holiday rentals in Orlat

We stayed in Freya House for 2 weeks when we were on holiday in Romania with our two older kids. It is a very nice, well maintained house with a very nice outdoor area. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Location is between the amazing Fagaras mountain and a small town. 10 min drive to a Lidl and a daily market where you can shop for local produce. The kitchen is well equipped to cook. Sibiu at 40 min drive has a wide variety of supermarkets with a bigger range. Our host had set up a pool in the garden. That was a nice extra since we hadn't seen it in the description. Situated where it is, Freya House has everything. The nature at your doorstep and plenty of  cultural options to explore at only a daytrip away (2 hrs drive). To have a car available is a necessity. We can very much recommend our wonderful hosts. Available, easygoing and friendly with instructions, advice, hiking routes, information on shops, markets, even home grown food!

A fost o vacanta minunata din toate punctele de vedere! Doamna Doina ne a intampinat de fiecare data cu un zambet calduros, ne a ajutat cu orice am avut nevoie , a fost foarte deschisa cu noi si chiar ne a servit cu niste gogosi de nota 10! Casa superba , curata, utilata complet, nu ne a lipsit nimic si ne am acomodat foarte rapid. Curtea mare si terasa spatioasa ne au priit foarte bine , caci am fost 12 oameni. Si eu si prietenii mei avem numai cuvinte de lauda la adresa gazdei si a locatiei , ne am simtit foarte bine si cu siguranta vom reveni cu prima ocazie !

Ne-am simtit foarte bine in aceasta locatie. Am avut parte de multa liniste, intimitate, o bucatarie bine utilata, o curte frumoasa si bine ingrijita unde, atat baietelul nostru cat si cainele, s-au putut juca si alerga in voie. Am fost primiti cu ospitalitate si amabilitate..si am gasit chiar si o surpriza dulce, pe masa, in bucatarie. Multumim inca o data gazdei noastre, Silviu, si ii dorim mult succes pe mai departe!

A very nice place, a cozy house for three couples. We had a nice stay, the owner was nice to wait for us for a late checkin, the house was nice and in a very quiet location, next to the forest. It’s 10 minutes away from Dumbrava Sibiu and 20 minutes away from the centre of Sibiu. We would come back for sure.

We were a group of 8 that needed acomodation to go skiing during the day to Paltinis. The house is a great place to stay, it has everything you need, very well equipped. Dumitru is an amazing host, we felt very welcomed and he cared for all of our needs. The included breakfast is very tasty and consistent, it also included sweets(we received pancakes in one day). I really recomand Dumitru's acomodation, one of the best hosts I ever met.

Pentru noi, motivul deplasării Bucureşti - Şugag a fost organizarea unei petreceri de cununie. Am fost o gaşcă de 16 tinere persoane, cu pasiuni multiple, dorință de conectare și poftă de distracție. Spațiul generos din interior și exterior, precum și facilitățile de la locație (piscină, teren tenis, terasă, saună, zonă grătar, TV etc) ne-au oferit posibilitatea de a practica jocuri de echipă, competiții de badminton şi volei, board game-uri, dar şi “cluburi de lectură” pe gazon. Dacă uitați să achiziționați produse necesare grătarelor cu prietenii sau pentru bălăceala în piscină a celor fără abilități de înot dezvoltate, nu este nicio problemă, gazdele oferă lemne de foc (nouă ni s-au oferit şi cãrbuni), colace etc. În plus, grupurile sanitare există efectiv oriune la locație, astfel că nu este necesar să vă deplasați dintr-un colț în altul pentru a avea acces la acestea. În concluzie, locația este foarte bine dotată, pentru o petrecere pe cinste fiind nevoie doar de voie bună din par

O experiență minunată pentru noi. Locația este superbă! Cabana este mare, autentică, utilată cu absolut tot ce este nevoie atât în interior cât și în tot spațiul exterior în așa fel încât să ajungem să ne simțim ca acasă. Cât despre gazdă, am avut onoarea să întâlnim niște oameni generoși și primitori care au făcut tot posibilul să ne simțim cât mai bine pe parcursul șederii noastre. Recomand din suflet și așteptăm cu drag să ne întoarcem🫶🏼

מקום מהמם ומקסים! היינו עם הילדים ונהנו מהכל. אידאלי למקום של שקט ושלווה. הוספנו כסף על הג'קוזי וזה היה שווה ממש!! ממליצים בחום לכולם! ומאחרים מעולים ואדיבים! תודה!!

The house is amazing and very spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. All the rooms and beds were very comfortable. The house was clean and tidy. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting Sibiu.

Foarte frumoasă locuința! Chiar și în zilele cele mai calde de 33-34 de grade nu a fost nevoie de aer condiționat (unitatea nu dispune de aer condiționat). Fiind într-o casă de tip vechi este mereu bine ca temperatură. Totul este foarte nou și frumos și cu gust. Pentru o familie cu 3 copii (10,6 și 1 an) și 2 adulți a fost perfect. Locație foarte bună, la mai puțin de 5 minute de mers pe jos până la ștrand.

Très belle maison dans un quartier calme et proche de la vieille ville. Jardin très beau et bien entretenu. Maison spacieuse, très propre et décorée avec goût. La séjour a été des plus agréables. Et Sibiu est magnifique 🙂 Je recommande sans hésiter!

Excellent! A small cottage in the city with its own courtyard, what else could you wish for? Victor's place is great value for money, a cute and luminous little house, spotless clean, in a quiet neighborhood of Sibiu. We felt right at home and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Alojamiento muy acogedor y cómodo. Sia es muy atenta y al escucha.

We were the first guests at Albert House and we enjoyed our stay! Cosmin is a great host and is very passionate about opening his home to his guests. He was always helpful and attentive. The premises itself is very special: it is an old Saxon house which Cosmin renovated by himself with a lot of love and attention to Detail, you can find a lot of historical items in the house :). other than that, it was very spacious and equipped with anything you might need! We even had a nice campfire on the last evening. Last but not least, the dogs were very cute (and friendly)! 100% recommended :)

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön und sauber. Die Aussicht war grandios. Elena war eine tolle Gastgeberin, die im Haus einige kleine Aufmerksamkeiten verteilt hat und dem Ganzen somit noch zusätzlichen Charme verliehen hat. In der Kommunikation war sie sehr höflich und hilfreich. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Andrea's place was amazing! It had everything we needed for our stay - a clean house, modern design, a very well-equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, children's playground with many fruit trees, a barbecue area and a beautiful environment. Very close to the complex of upside down house in Arvig and the beginning of the Transfagarasan road. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there again when we return to the area.

Such an amazing experience. I love all his guest houses and it's always perfect. it's a good gift for you to surprise your girlfriend/ wife :)

Everything was perfect. Apartment was really nice and comfortable. Lorena is great host and we hope to visit that place again 😊.
