Our cozy home is newly constructed, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated, tucked in a private clearing with direct access to the Kingdom Trail network and VAST snowmobiling trails, minutes from Burke Mountain, and a short drive to Lake Willoughby. Just up the road from the village of East Burke, we are close to nearby amenities yet in a quiet hillside surrounded by nature, the perfect location for a weekend getaway, whether you are biking, skiing, hiking or exploring the Northeast Kingdom.

Pristine Lake Location in Vermont

Our cottage is located on Lake Memphremagog, an international lake shared with Canada. Visit our nearby hobby farm/children’s museum. Kayak, bike or hike to stunning natural settings or take day trips to a variety of interesting destinations, including maple sugar shops, alpaca or dairy farms, golf courses, a ski resort with indoor waterpark; or cross the Canadian border a few miles away and explore Quebec. A boat dock is available for use at our cottage with an access ramp a 1/4 mile away.

Walk down to the lake for a swim, canoe ride to loons, enjoy the views from the oversized deck, make s’mores at the campfire, or soak in the hot tub on the covered porch. After a long day of hiking, biking, or skiing, come take a swing at our charming historical cottage. Dating back to the mid 1800s it was one of the first schoolhouses in the area, today it is filled with all the modern luxuries one would need. Our quaint porch is perfect for bird watching or leaf peeping. The inside includes high ceilings, a bedroom and a cozy loft- both with queen beds. French culture is only a 10 min drive away; Vermont culture is abound with maple syrup and warm locals.

Come and embrace the majestic beauty of Vermont from Sugar Hill, a quaint log cabin nestled on 24 acres of beautiful countryside. Enjoy the views of the Canadian mountains from the front porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine; or wander around the pasture or woods behind the cabin. Close to both Jay Peak and downtown Newport, you can enjoy all those locations have to offer, or simply relax. Please note that the stairs to the 2nd floor are steeper than usual.

Razzle's cabin is on the Kingdom Trails! Right out the front door is the Coronary Bypass trail that connects to the entire network! Minutes from Burke Mountain! It's a quiet, private setting off from West Darling Hill road. Huge sunny deck with grill and picnic table along with comfy seating to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Outside you'll find a sweet fire pit with a woodshed filled to the brim and an outdoor shower and bike wash!

Our home, situated on 50 acres of pristine Vermont forest, was originally built in 2001 and renovated in 2018. The land on which it is built has been in our family for 3 generations and features sweeping vistas of beautifully forested Vermont mountains. Lounge on the large wrap around deck as you barbeque your favorite meal, enjoy a beverage, take in breathtaking sunsets! This is a great place for families.
