The photos are in line with reality. The house is very beautiful and very well taken care of. The city is a very quiet place with a small infrastructure of restaurants and supermarkets, but I had no problem getting anything during my stay. The location is close to Ouro Preto: the commute to any city is very easy. Anyway, thanks a lot for the stay and I would definitely return.

It was excellent, thank you for all your understanding and care. Very good space, but I do not recommend it for those who have difficulty getting around, there are a lot of stairs, but the house is very comfortable, large and with many leisure options.

Wagner is a very attentive and helpful person. His space is very beautiful in the middle of a beautiful forest valley almost reaching Ouro Preto. Birds reign in the silence of the forest... squirrels eating coconut break the silence... a beautiful lawn, fruit trees and native forest of the Brazilian serrado, a lot of simplicity and everything else beautiful at the same time...nature. For those who need to disconnect or connect. Thank you for staying. We will be back for sure.

A Hidden Gem in Ouro Preto! We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Ouro Preto. The house is the perfect blend of modern comfort and historic charm, with unique architectural details that reflect the rich character of the town. Every room felt thoughtfully designed, cozy, and inviting. The location was fantastic—close enough to explore all the main attractions, yet peaceful enough to relax and take in the atmosphere. The host was exceptionally welcoming and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a place that combines style, history, and comfort, this is it. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Excellent accommodation in a quiet location in Mariana and easy to access. Be careful when entering the address in Waze/Maps, as the street does not have a correct sequence of numbers. It is advisable to make contact beforehand to obtain more information; however, the distance between the final GPS location and the actual residence location is approximately 100 meters.

The house is exactly as described, excellent location, in the Historic Center. Large house, with beautiful decoration, a charm. TV with many channels, comfortable beds. Iara was always available and responded quickly. Access by electronic lock makes life so much easier, no key is needed. Washing machine/dryer for a multi-day case. The house is renovated, updated inside and with many gardens, but it is worth remembering that it is a historic house in relation to the design, so obviously it gets little sunshine, as the old lands are narrow and deep. On particularly cold days (in our case, we had a strong cold front), the house gets cold. But that's to be expected, it's like that for any house of this type, and there's plenty of blankets. For those who go in mid-season or summer, this does not change anything, it even helps. I would definitely stay back in town. We stayed as a couple, but it supports many more people, as it has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an equipped kitchen.

Patrice was an excellent host, welcomed us very well, along with Chocolate, his docile and friendly dog. You gave me some really cool tips. We had a nice chat! Breakfast with a view of the Itacolomi mountain range is wonderful. We will definitely stay there on our next return to Lavras Novas. I recommend it to everyone!

My stay at Janaína's house was very comfortable. The location is very close to several interesting points of Ouro Preto, and it is possible to walk to the historic center. The house is very clean, cozy and everything works perfectly. In addition, Janaína is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

The place is perfect for a short and more affordable stay. I especially recommend it for couples and those who are willing to explore the city to the fullest, as it is not the type of place to stay all day. It has all the utilities and adequate space to accommodate briefly. The region in general has a very mountainous terrain, we keep the car on arrival and only pick it up after check-out, because it is not worth using, both because of the difficulty in driving through the narrow and steep streets and finding parking spots in the city. In other words, be prepared to walk a lot on rocky slopes. Explore the city on foot and plan a route of churches and museums to get the full experience and really get to know the history, tracing a strategic route to get to know all the corners of the city without spending so much energy going back and forth, up and down. In fact, it is an inaccessible city for people with disabilities or mobility difficulties. For the elderly, the accommodation should be in the center to avoid displacement.

The house is excellent, with a very quiet location and perfect for walking around the city center. We loved the banana cake and coffee that were waiting for us. The host gave us good tips about the city. I'd love to go back to the city and stay in the same house! 🙏🏻
