A charming, warm and peaceful place. Perfect for a moment with those we love. We enjoyed the fall colors as a family and could not have found a better place to stay in the area. The host is attentive and very responsive. We had a slight power outage that lasted less than 30 minutes and within minutes someone came to give us a gallon of drinking water and assist us if needed. Never seen before!! I highly recommend it!!! 5/5 👌

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It was perfect for a group, with private sleeping areas and lots of shared space to relax. The cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed, and Robin was a fantastic host. Flexible, accommodating, and pet friendly, which made our weekend completely stress-free and enjoyable. We’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway on the water.

Very good stay for two large families, with the grandparents who came to dinner... so much a friendly table that sat us well for dinner. A great discovery we'll go back to!

It definitely exceeded our expectations!! Such a cozy and beautiful place. It’s so well thought of because there were games, utensils, books and more. Debbie was quick to respond and suggested great things to do around. A hidden gem for sure. Would highly recommend and return to this place.

The pictures don’t do justice, the cottage is beautiful and surrounded by amazing views. The property itself is super clean and very quiet. John was proactive, responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to coming back again!

Our stay at Renne’s home was absolutely wonderful! The house and garden are beautifully maintained, and the location was perfect for stargazing—peaceful, serene, and away from city lights. Renne is a fantastic host, very helpful and sweet. She made sure we had a great time. We can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely getaway!

Terrific stay for the whole extended family (7 adults, 2 kids, and 1 infant). Our hosts were incredibly responsive both in the lead up to and during our stay. Gorgeous cottage that looks as posted. If anything, the pictures can’t do it justice, at least as it relates to the views of the water and surrounding wilderness. Would stay again.

Great weekend as friends. There were 11 of us and all enjoyed the place. With the many bedrooms and beds we all slept well. The common areas are very large to accommodate everyone without any problem. And what about the beautiful rooftop terrace? We've seen a lot of deer, too, outside. We also enjoyed the aquatic complex for long hours:) Volleyball games in the wild pool, saunas, golf simulator! Fun for all ages This was my second stay in one of the chalet in André and certainly not my last

This place was just as described. Right by the water, and right on the golf course. Plenty of space for our group of 16!

The location was very good and the cottage had a lot of charm. The chalet lacked nothing and everything was perfect for a family weekend that was conducive to creating memories. We highly recommend this rental

The cottage was impeccable. Large, peaceful, clean and the fenestration is impressive. The rooms were spacious and convenient. We had a little problem with the spa. However, Fouad responded quickly and everything was settled. Access to the outdoor fire was more than perfect. The spa and the size of the sauna was a favorite. The central space was friendly and more than pleasant. Thank you for this wonderful weekend!!!!

Great cottage and location with ample amount of space for a gathering. The kitchen and bedrooms are clean and spacious. With multiple fireplaces to enjoy a cozy evening.

This chalet is a true gem! Our winter stay was a dream, surrounded by 52 acres of beautiful property (though we only managed to explore about 10!). The views were absolutely stunning, and I can only imagine how gorgeous it must be in the summer and fall – we're definitely coming back. The chalet was meticulously clean, incredibly welcoming, and stocked with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were so friendly and proactive, and the little surprise touches upon arrival made it extra special. Highly recommend this peaceful and picturesque escape! I recently had the pleasure of staying at the "Cozy Lake Front Nature Escape" in Maniwaki, Quebec, and it was a truly delightful experience. The chalet is nestled in a serene natural setting, offering picturesque views of the lake, which provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The interior was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with all the necessary amenities, including Wi-Fi, allowing me to stay connected during my retreat. The host was attentive and responsive, ensuring my stay was as pleasant as possible. They even organized a cute little treasure hunt for us to find our goodies. I especially appreciated the fresh farm cloves of garlic and eggs; they were lovely. I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway immersed in nature.

We stayed 4 days in this beautiful cottage in mid-April. everything was very good as described in the listing. the host is very responsive to the message which was very appreciated when we needed it. there was no paddle/oars for the boats and it sent us quickly. we will definitely come back to enjoy a long weekend. the cottage is very well located on the lake and not far from the shops of La Minerve. thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Barkview Hideaway! The owners are clearly experienced hosts, you can tell as soon as you walk into the chalet. They do a great job anticipating guests' needs. The place is cozy, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything you might need and more. Nestled in the forest, it offers stunning views of the lake. The lake itself is gorgeous. We visited during a peaceful time and barely saw anyone else around. It felt like we had the whole area to ourselves. A unique experience! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. Thank you for providing everything we needed for a perfect getaway!

The chalet is located in a quiet and pleasant environment with beautiful lake views from the terrace. Still a little early for activities on the lake, we were able to enjoy the calm and rest. The cottage is well equipped, intended for four, we were very comfortable there for two.

The cottage was beautiful and spotless inside with a well stocked and open kitchen. The outside area provided either shade or sun for the whole day and felt very private surrounded by trees. It was peaceful on the private dock and a great spot to watch the sunset! Overall great experience!

We really enjoyed our family getaway at this gem of a cottage! Beautiful view of the water, quiet location, wonderful kitchen space for cooking and so many places for the kids to play! We enjoyed the paddleboards, games, puzzles and also used the fitness space in the basement, which was an unexpected bonus! There were many bike paths near the cottage that we hope to explore next time! Highly recommend this cottage, it will absolutely not disappoint!
