Older houses tend to be dismantled in general.However, in order to preserve the old things, we carefully cared for ourselves and prepared to welcome you to use it as an asset.There is a spacious Japanese garden and an authentic tea room in the Japanese-style room, so you can experience it while living in Japanese culture. On the other hand, we offer furniture and appliances that are easy to use.We are pursuing cultural enjoyment and ease of living at the same time. There are seasonal garden trees in the garden, so I think you can enjoy them throughout the season. My hobby is collecting bonsai and traditional Japanese pottery.While living at this inn, I hope you can experience Real Japan on a daily basis with Japanese culture. I hope you will enjoy your stay and the culture in the historic and charming town of Furukawa, where I was born and raised.

This is an old house-style building located just off the Nikko Kaido. Close to Tobu Shim-Imaichi Station, you might even hear the steam whistle of the Taiki if you're lucky in the evening. 8-tatami Japanese-style room (bamboo room), 6-tatami Japanese-style room (temple style), 8-tatami living room (retro style) IH kitchen, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, fridge, washing machine, gas dryer, etc. are fully equipped, so you can use this place as a base for sightseeing in Nikko, Kinugawa, Ashio, and Kuriyama. There is also a parking lot, making it ideal for touring with fellow bikers. Breakfast is a free loaf of freshly baked bread (home bakery). Mountain Biking, Calligraphy, Games, BBQ (The usage fee for charcoal is 2,000 yen per use. Dishes are available for rent, so please prepare your ingredients at a nearby supermarket.) Advance reservation is required. In the evening, I also run a tavern next door, so you can enjoy delicious food and drinks.

Rest peacefully in the tatami mat room on Japanese futons lined with pillows. Parking is also available for up to 2 station wagon sized vehicles. In addition, due to the enforcement of the new Private Lodging Law (Residential Accommodation Business Law) on June 15, 2018, government agencies are required to fill in the list of guests, and foreigners who do not have an address in Japan are required to present their passports.Therefore, we ask for permission to fill in the guest list and present your passport and copy at the time of staying.We appreciate your understanding.
