Holiday rentals in Oyster Bay

The villa is clean and well laid out. The garden is paradisiacal, and there are beautiful little animals (chickens and roosters with chicks, russets, cardinal, etc.) every day. The small pool is perfect for resting your legs after a day exploring the island and its lagoon. The supermarket is rather close (the great cash), we were able to do our food shopping on foot. Marie-Claude and Mirella are absolutely adorable. And they cook great. They cooked us a very nice meal, much better than all the restaurants we ate in. The neighborhood is super nice. We are delighted with our stay.

Lacaz Lontan is a great 'Rodrigues/Creole style' house with all the comfort needed for great holidays. The staff is very friendly & helpful. You can even taste local food at home. :) The luxurious garden creates a great atmosphere with space to enjoy the warm nights under the trees. We had a BBQ one night with our friends which really makes you feel at home. You have a true experience of the Rodrigues countryside with the chickens & goats walking around the property, and local music playing in the houses on the mountain, but being 5 minutes away from town. There are nice beaches 10 minutes away by car. The house is great, I do recommend that place.

If we could give 10 out of 5 stars, we would! Apartment very close to the beach, beautiful terrace with nice sunset, 10min from Port Mathurin. Yolande and Keiser are such nice hosts, they made us discover Rodrigues, helped us find a vehicle, a boat trip, a scooter rental, beautiful beaches etc. I would 100% recommend this place, it is very well equipped and very clean, and especially the hosts are amazing! Once again, thank you for everything ☀️

We had a very good family stay. Listing was as described. The meals were excellent and the conviviality at the appointment! We'll be happy to go back!

Rodrigues is exceptional for the kindness of its inhabitants the beauty of its island. it is an island full of simplicity but a diamond to discover like Christiane 😘 a lot of humanity of simplicity like its island go there to take the time to live and smile every time you meet someone that's Rodrigues

Great stay, he was a guide to advise us on what to do on the island and contacts for sea trips etc. Very pleasant and super well located to move around the island because it is not far from the bus station 🙂

I only stayed two days. I wanted to walk. At the François Leguat reserve, (2 km away) the staff are very welcoming and charming. I went to the restaurant both days, everything was very good. You must visit this reserve. A five-minute walk away, I took a bus to Port Mathurin in an hour. I think that renting a motorcycle for those who are used to this sport is possible. Driving in Rodrigues is less annoying than in Mauritius, people drive more slowly. I loved my short stay at Charlene's.
