Bob and Shar are graceful hosts. They are very welcoming and share their home with guests. The home is well divided so I felt like I had private space while also being with them and their two dogs in their home. The location has easy access from the highway and felt private and safe. They were very responsive to feedback and eager to make my stay enjoyable. I was attending a workshop so was only there in the evenings. There are plenty of restaurants in Marina with a diversity of ethnic options and they provided a decent sized refrigerator to hold left overs and other things that I needed. Overall it was a great place to come back to at the end of a long day!

Leticia and her adorable cottage are both fantastic. She was so kind and responsive to my questions. The place was very artsy and cute and very walkable but so quiet. I didn't use my car while I was there- walked to downtown, to restaurants, to the beach, even to the Monterey bay aquarium area! Good parking, easy check in, lovely quiet street with deer wandering around. The bedding was plush and the towels were so soft! And the house heated up super quick (pacific grove tends to be foggy and cool). Easy checkout instructions also.
