Family-friendly holiday rentals in Palm Desert

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home. Quiet and serene and very close to downtown Palm Springs and all the other activities. Definitely loved working with Nana, and would rent with her again.

it's open concepts century moden style decore with simple but lots of things to offered. Host Walter communicated with me to make sure we have comfortable stay. Also manual book give many questions to answer and able to enjoy the place 1000%. Place is 20 minutes away from Palm Spring and 40 minute from Joshua Tree West Entrance. Distance wasn't issue at all, just come home and everything makes relax and comfortable setup to enjoy vacation. Everyday roadrunner visited us, and feel welcome and surprised. I wish I have more time to stay there but definitely place to suggest for future. Host Walter and Miguel definitely make feel welcome and provide clean safe place to offer for future guests.

This was our second time staying here and we loved it even more. Such a cute house, very clean and looks just like the pictures if not better. The pool is wonderful as well. We would not hesitate to come back. Mike and Jan are great hosts and always very responsive!

This villa was lovely, really well equipped, everything you could need. Well cleaned, good amenities washing machine etc. Really quick helpful responses from Todd and Mitch. Quiet neighbourhood. Smooth check in process. It's in quite a windy area but view is lovely, great Airbnb

This was the perfect stay for my family for our memorial day vacation! The place was very spacious, clean and the amenities were fantastic. Amanda, our host was very communicative and friendly throughout our stay. The space was spotless, well-stocked, and exactly as described—if not better! It had all the comforts of home with thoughtful touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was convenient and peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a busy day. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch Airbnb experience. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality!

If only there was a 6th star!! First off, let me say that our hosts thought of everything to ensure that we had the complete Palm Springs experience. This incredible home is so welcoming and stocked with every need fulfilled. The backyard is a dream oasis and I would stay here again without question. The proximity to the airport is convenient and you quickly get used to hearing the planes. Thank you Clara and Stuart for your excellent communication and trip enhancements. 😁

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying in Kim's home. The layout of the house is great. Very spacious, multiple bathrooms, large kitchen area with a huge island, and comfortable sofas. The pool/jacuzzi were perfect. I loved floating in the pool all day, while my boyfriend loved hanging out in the jacuzzi. Couldn't have been a better setup for a relaxing holiday weekend getaway. The house has everything you might need... towels, pool floaties, deck chairs, umbrellas, plastic cups for poolside use, lots of dishes, board games and more. We didn't feel like anything was lacking. Kim was very responsive to messages, and easy to communicate with. No complaints at all. The area is close to lots of supermarkets and places to eat. Perfect for a quick run to Stater Bros for some breakfast goodies, or to the ATM machine. Overall, a really wonderful long weekend. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves immensely, and hope to be able to stay there again .

This is the 4th time we have stayed here. We love it!! There is a hill of boulders that leaves me breathless every time I look at it. To see this hill with the rare Big Horned Sheep, takes me over the top emotionally. We also love the landscaping with the natural desert in mind. The house is decorated to fit the desert and the most well equipped Airbnb we,’ve ever stayed at. We spent a lot of time out in the patio watching the Chuckwallas, Roadrunners, Quail and Big Horned Sheep. There’s a ton of birds also. When it got warm, we went in the pool. The temperature of the water was perfect. Super refreshing on a hot day.

Oh my, what a wonderful stay my family had at Johns place. Don’t think twice about booking! Johns communication was wonderful prior to booking and afterwards! This home is beautiful, clean and spacious! We enjoyed swimming in the pool most of our days and roasting marshmallows in the evening by the fire pit. We cozied up in the living room for some movies and enjoyed our dinners outside on the large patio table. We appreciated the board games that were provided along with the pool toys. We cooked all our meals so the well stocked kitchen was lovely. The wildlife of humming birds & butterflies in the backyard was beautiful! We will defiantly return in the future!

Diane was an incredible host! Her and the Hidden Passage crew have created such a beautiful and peaceful oasis and made mine and my partner’s anniversary vacation an absolute dream! It truly felt like we were removed from society for a small moment and that’s exactly what we needed. The property was so well managed and kept so pristine! Every staff member we met on site was so kind and extremely helpful! I could not recommend this place enough! Also the pool rocks, we spent every single day in it!

My sister and I were looking to relax around the pool for a few days to celebrate her birthday and we found exactly what we needed. The restaurants that we sampled from Billy & Jeff’s recommendations were fabulous . Everything we needed was at the house including pool floats. As a former zookeeper I absolutely loved the flamingo themed decor! The flamingo house’s convenient location allowed us to check Joshua Tree National Park off our bucket lists! The weather was perfect and we just really enjoyed being outside around the pool. Listening to the waterfalls was especially relaxing and the nighttime lights allowed us to spend time outside after dark. We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Palm Springs. Billy also gave us a great recommendation for lunch in nearby Idyllwild. I used to live in Mountain Center and appreciated the nostalgic trip through downtown past the old movie theater and the supermarket that I used to frequent!

Overall our stay was great, my family and I had a great time and the place was clean and cozy. You can’t have any music by the pool not even with your phone so that was a bummer, and couches are off limits to sleep on, so don’t even think of falling asleep on them if you stay here. These were small things so if you plan on staying here you went regret it. The host is very friendly and responsive, and you will literally have everything you need here.

We loved the house. It's a perfect Palm Springs vibe. The weather was a bit cool the first two days so we enjoyed the fire pit outside at night. The pool is heated and there's lots of outdoor fun and functional space. The instructions for departure were clear and simple. Driving to all the attractions was easy from this location. I would have liked one more day and night to just hang around the pool and house. I would definelty recommend staying here!

My husband and I stayed at Heike and Georg’s cozy desert home for a birthday staycation and it was everything we could have hoped for! The temperature was perfect to make use of the pool and the privacy made spending lots of outdoor time all the better. Aside from the pool, we loved the homey and curated decor which left us feeling creative and inspired throughout the trip. Heike and Georg were very accommodating, even giving us an early check in so we could make the most of our trip. They were also very responsive with all of our questions and made our stay that much better.

Sophia was a wonderful host! She was a great communicator and happy to provide any help needed. The space is excellent! The neighborhood is beautiful. 15 mins to Downtown Palm Springs. We would definitely come back and recommend this AirB&B in the future!

As a veteran event planner and hospitality manager, I can truly say that there are very few properties like this one. Perfect combination of classic elegance, artful design, and thoughtful preparation and care for their guests’ needs. The house manager makes herself available before your stay and throughout to ensure that you and your guests are as comfortable as possible. They accommodated our pets and truly think of everything for your stay. A huge thank you to the team from our group, who will certainly be recommending this to any clients or friends seeking a top class property / venue for their next trip to the desert.

Let me just start by saying that this home and host deserves a 10 out of 10. What a wonderful experience my family and I had at Heliana's home. She went above and beyond to welcome us and we felt right at home. She greeted us with the most beautiful charcuterie board and champagne set up which we enjoyed after a long drive in traffic. The home itself is beautiful and very clean to be honest the photos don't do it justice. We had zero complaints and we had such a great time celebrating my father's birthday. Thank you Heliana for being such a lovely host we definitely will be back soon.

Great place to stay! My friends and I rented it out for coachella and it was a beautiful neighborhood and close to the venue so it all worked out!

Omg I’m so in love with this villa I just want to come back by myself and stay for a weekend. Everything inside was so pretty and clean, the balcony area felt so safe and comfortable, the entrance door has a beautiful view of the mountains and the units and area was just perfect. I felt very safe and secured in this home. Sharona the host was very responsive, instructions were clear and was very flexible with my arrival. I definitely recommend this place worth the price!

Awesome location. Really enjoyed the Legacy Villas. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and unit itself had everything we needed. Would definitely book again!

Worth every penny! It slept 8 of us very comfortably, the kitchen was fully stocked with tons of dishes and pots and pans, the beds were very comfortable and it is only 8 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. Marvin answered all of our texts almost immediately and he is extremely kind and accommodating. I can’t say enough about the property! If we didn’t already have plans to go out to dinner, we would’ve just stayed the entire time. From Pickleball and volleyball to ping-pong and old video games; this place has it all! We will definitely be staying here again and again. Everybody that was in our group Was extremely happy with this experience.. Thank you, Marvin! You are a wonderful host 😊
