Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Parke County

Very clean, close to fishing spots which was what we were looking for, private and just an overall very cool place!

We loved Kickapoo Creekside Escape and would definitely stay there again. Lots to do if you are a nature lover and not too far from town if you needed something.

This home is a gem. Crystal was an excellent host! When I had a question, she was able to providea a quick response. Crystal provided a sparkling clean home stocked with everything anyone would need while relaxing by the lake. The beds are so comfortable. The Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. The neiborhood is quiet and the mature trees provide beautiful breezes while enjoying the beautiful, glamorous back porch. The newly added dock for relaxing and fishing was a great addition. One can even see wildlife and deer. This is my 3rd time here and I hope for many more. Thank you Crystal.

Swan's Nest is cozy and comfortable and located in beautiful surroundings. This was my second stay and I hope to be back next year.

The humble abode was perfect for what we needed. We had a group together for a family wedding and we felt very welcome. Susan had reached out ahead of time to be sure we had all our questions answered before we left the house. She greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed and then some. Lots of snacks, and games, comfy blankets, and milk and juice in the fridge. We enjoyed our morning coffee in their peaceful backyard. We would stay again if we’re ever back in the area and next time we’ll bring the dog.

We are locals who hosted visitor's at Elaine's place. Our guests had a great experience and were very comfortable. Elaine went above and beyond by calling us to let us know that an item was left behind and arranged a way for us to pick it up.

Katherine's home was very clean, well appointed and the size was perfect for our small group. We enjoyed sitting in the covered porch and sipping our morning coffee to start our day. Everything was so well stocked. I forgot my own shampoo and Katherine's had so many choices to choose from. Fear not if you think you forgot something, rest assured Katherine's probably has it. We slept well in the cozy beds, I even crawled back in and took a nap. I often take short spontaneous trips to Terre Haute. I'll consider myself lucky if her wonderful home is available.

This home was perfect for us and our extended family to celebrate our son’s college graduation. It was clean, well appointed, and spacious. Plenty of room for everyone at the dining room table (including enough chairs) when all 10 of us were there, which was really nice. Comfortable beds and enough privacy for everyone. We especially liked the rec room for playing pool and the backyard games provided. This house made our last stay in Terre Haute very special — thank you Veera!

We had a fantastic stay at Meggan’s place! She made check-in and check-out a breeze and was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. Her communication made everything easy and stress-free. The house and property were absolutely beautiful—spacious, clean, and perfect for our group. We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The location was peaceful and secluded, offering the perfect escape. The cabin was spotless, well-stocked, and full of charming touches that made it feel like home. We especially loved the relax pool and sauna. The hosts were responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled retreat!

Check-in was a breeze with Nate sending our code before arrival. The place was clean, had everything we needed. Loved it had a washer and dryer. We could wash and dry our clothes after a muddy hike at the state park nearby. Only thing to note there is not an oven or toaster oven. It may have been noted in the listing and I forgot about it. We loved that Nate provided firewood to enjoy the firepit. We didn't get a chance to use it this trip due to rain but that is a nice touch. We would definately stay here agin!

We chose this spot for a getaway with longtime friends and family and my 2 dogs. It could not have been more what we were looking for. Calm, secluded spot with privacy. Great yard for the dogs to run around in. Plenty of amenities and sleeping considerations. And, most of all, Erin was amazing. Super responsive and friendly. Everyone had an amazing time and couldn’t believe how perfect it was. We will almost certainly be making this trip a tradition :).

Michael is a great host! We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It has a beautiful view of the lake. It was comfortable with lots of amenities. We would go back!

The perfect place for a family/ gateway weekend. Just walking distance from the Turkey Run park trails . If you love nature this the place for you. Very cozy, clean . They have thought of everything you need to have an amazing outdoor and relaxing time either after an all day hiking or just want to enjoy a nice gateway time .

Treetops is an amazing gem. It's very quiet, comfortable and it's located next to a national forest. We felt like we were home. We hiked Turkey Run state park, ate at local restaurants in Rockville, grilled out on the deck and hiked a great trail / creek bed right on the property. Anna was very responsive and helpful. We would love to come back and stay both in the fall to see the changing foliage and to experience some winter hiking too.

This was our second visit, and we loved it just as much the second time. Jean was very proactive and communicated well to ensure we fully enjoyed our stay. The house and surrounding area are great for those looking to get away from the business of life and enjoy the outdoors. Very convenient location for Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. We loved our time there!

Really enjoyed Jacob’s place. Loved cooking on the open fire. Was very quiet and a wonderful place to celebrate our 42 wedding anniversary.
