We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Welcome to our unique retreat space for creativity, and stillness. Nestled in the heart of nature, but close to town, this one-bedroom apartment offers a rare opportunity (normally only available during retreats) to experience the deep serenity of the land, lovingly run by a Dutch and French couple. Wake up to breathtaking views of the Sierra da Estrela, and enjoy the rejuvenating spring water at every tap (incl shower). The pool is as natural as possible (little chemicals).

My place is close to the Tower/ski resort (about 15 minutes). The house is in a mountain village, at 1100 m altitude, being considered the highest village in Portugal - Elderberry. Within a 10 km radius there are several lagoons and river beaches, for example, the Rossim Valley and Lagoa Comprida, Loriga and the beach of the village itself. My space is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).

The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).
