Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Perry County

I've stayed at this house before and it is great. It's very walkable to all the town restaurants and activities. There is plenty of street parking available right in front of the house. The listing and pictures are as the house described. The host is very proactive and responsive. I won't make this review as long as my first but as a follow up with the addition a air conditions upstairs this is easily a 5 star stay. I will continue to stay here every time I visit Carlisle.

We were visiting Carlisle for a college reunion and loved our stay at Stephen’s place! The upstairs bedroom and spa bathroom were lovely, with lots of storage options. Downstairs was comfortable and very clean. We loved being across the street from one of our favorite breakfast spots. What a cool place for a long weekend!

We had a great weekend at Jennifer's place visiting Hershey Park and other local attractions. There were so many dining options within 10 minutes of the house so we didn't cook any meals during our stay. The home was immaculate and our dog loved the fenced in back yard. We stayed during a heat wave but the AC was amazing. We would love to stay here again when visiting the area.

The house is located in a beautiful, peaceful location. The host was very responsive, helpful, and flexible. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a fun vacation. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location of the property is idyllic. It is private, peaceful and relaxing, we only wish we had had more time to enjoy the location, the pretty garden gazebo and babbling brook!

Returned to Carlisle for my 5 year college reunion and this Airbnb was the perfect spot! Location is right in town and close to campus, it was clean and spacious, and Alexandra was a great host who was very responsive and easy to work with!

Brooks’ place proved to be perfect for a party of 11, including 4 boys aged 7-12. The interior was spotless and perfectly functional. The back yard (including the pool) was simply outstanding. Brooks himself was a terrific host whose messages were always helpful and considerate. Mechanicsburg itself is close to Gettysburg and some beautiful parks. No hesitation at all recommending this outstanding house and model host.

We really loved the stay at the house! It really was everything we were looking for and wasn't forever away from us. We wanted to get away and relax with privacy and some places for the kids to get in the water... the pool did not disappoint even if it was a little chilly this time of year... The kids didn't care! I spent most of my time in the hot tub and using the amenities of the home that made us all feel right at home. We hope to come again... this was a great spot to bring the family and friends to get away.

Hosts have thought of everything. If you are searching for relaxing peaceful accommodations, this cabin fits the bill. The cabin is spotless with an added bonus that Little Buffalo State Park is nearby.

This place is cleaned with eco/people friendly products which is very important for my immune system. No febreezes, scented candles, chemical air fresheners, hormone disrupting laundry soap, and dish soap! They are ahead of the curve and care about you by providing such products! They provide essential cookware, lovely instant or fresh latte brewed daily or hot chocolate for your pleasure. The family is wholesome, active, full of life, and a nice balancer and healing to be by for us after experiencing turmoil in our life🙏truly a blessing 🙏 the place is beautiful, clean, stylish, comfortable, and you have a view of the mountains. Gratitude practice notebook inside if you do choose. I highly recommend 🙏

It was a perfect place to get away for a recharge and explore the area. The house was very spacious and felt like home.

Brent was very kind to us. His cottage was beautiful, comfortable and easy to find. There’s a great deck out back and access to the fire pit and lots of seating. The grounds are just beautiful. I hope he’ll have us again!

Place was very clean and large enough for our group. Beds were comfortable and having access to a washer and dryer was nice too.

Brenda is an amazing host. She is always taking care of the properties, very responsive and helpful with any and every request I had. The cabin is perfect and situated on a beautiful piece of land overlooking farms and forest…plus a pond to boot! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a country side retreat with an amazing, thoughtful and experienced host! - - - Jason

My First Airbnb Stay: A Great Experience Our stay at this Airbnb was fantastic! The location was incredibly convenient, offering a peaceful, quiet area while still being just a short drive from Hershey and Harrisburg. We also really appreciated having local amenities like convenience stores and gas stations nearby, making our outings super easy. The space itself was very clean and desirable, and it comfortably accommodated our group of six. It was a pleasant and relaxing place to return to after our busy days. As this was my very first Airbnb stay, I learned a valuable lesson about communication. I wasn't entirely sure about the check-in process upon our late arrival, and I felt bad having to call the host at 3 AM. They were understandably asleep at first, but were very understanding. This is definitely something I'll clarify more proactively as a new user in the future. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb.

This was our first airnb stay so was not sure what to expect. Anna and Jared's home was perfect for our family's needs. It was very clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities plus many extras. The hosts were very responsive to all of our messages and instructions for the stay were very clear. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting this area, particularly if you have a larger party or family. We are a family of 8 and this house accommodated us very well with enough space and separation. Washer and dryer were also a huge bonus due to our week stay. Also having 2 bathrooms with showers was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay & we would love to stay again on our next visit to Carlisle!

It was such a pleasure to stay with Margie. The room was exactly to our expectations and was the perfect venue for our 5 year reunion. Also the location is next to a gorgeous park, and it is very easy to access the main town of Carlisle! The hospitality and space was absolutely perfect for what we needed and I will be sure to look back here for our ten year reunion!
