Cozy Basement Space

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Close to Downtown Kearney and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. This lovely place has its own outdoor entrance, cozy kitchen, bathroom with shower, private sleeping area and living area with fireplace. We do have a washing machine and dryer that we can share with you if needed. We also have a very nice backyard to relax if you would like to share that with us. Rustic Cabin Retreat

Quiet, secluded area has occasional wildlife (turkey, deer). The Turkey Creek runs behind the cabin, and there is a very small pond in the front of the cabin that can be fished. There's a kid's "fort" to the west of the main cabin for the kids to enjoy! The fort has a space heater, a loft with a futon, and a TV (no TV service) that can be used for DVD's. The cabin has no TV service or internet service.....thus the beauty of this retreat!! TV in the cabin is for DVD's only.

This cabin is furnished with leather furniture, cable tv, a queen size bed, a double size bed and A/C.

My second time staying with Brian and Mia and they're are spectacular hosts. The property is wonderful with gorgeous views, and the cabin was just what we needed. Fishing at the lake was great, and Mia gave us some great advice on where to look for them too. Can't give this property, and these hosts, enough stars.

In addition, Dan was very flexible to us when we didn’t know for sure how many people would be staying or exactly how things were going to operate during this time
