Creaking wooden floors, wood-heated fireplaces and sturdy log walls. In the over 100-year-old Pihlaja-aho cottage, you might think you've fallen into the middle of a scene from a Suomi-Film movie. So if you're looking for an old-fashioned rustic atmosphere, you've come to the right place. Pihlaja-aho's cabin is the only place in Finland where you can spend a unique alpaca holiday. The 1.3 ha of natural meadows of the croft are grazed by three nice alpaca boys, whose easy care you are responsible for independently and according to your own schedule.

Kaislan Tila

Kaislan Tila is located in the countryside, 22km north of Mikkeli. We live in the main building of the farm and there is a 65m2 separate apartment in the yard. The farm has animals and is surrounded by thousands of lakes in Eastern Finland and forest areas rich in natural resources. The nearby lake offers recreational opportunities, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. In the woods, you can ski, pick berries, pick mushrooms and just enjoy the peace and quiet. In winter, you can go snowshoeing, skiing and skating, weather permitting.

A gorgeous and spacious apartment!

This gorgeous apartment is located in the middle of the city, so it's easy to walk, cycle (electric bike for rent) or drive to work, to get around, to various events or even to dance at Kari Tapio's Paalupaikka at Veturitori! Local transport stop is about 100m away and the railway station is about 400m away! Within walking distance you will also find; e.g. the market square, the cultural center Poleeni, the swimming pool, shops and markets. Pieksäjärvi's magnificent beach promenade is also nearby!

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Kohteessa hiekkaranta, puulämmitteinen sauna, laavu, patio rannalla, kelluva sauna, hyvin varusteltu keittiö, Weber-kaasugrilli, 2 wc:tä, suihku, ilmalämpöpumppu, 2 SUP-lautaa, soutuvene, trampoliini, lastenkirjoja ja pelejä. Lähellä frisbeegolf-rata. Täällä koet upeat auringonlaskut ja saatat bongata saimaannorpan. Täydellinen kohde luontoa, luonnonrauhaa ja mukavuutta arvostavalle, sopii lapsiperheille.

Atmospheric dryland cottage

Vaatimaton kuivanmaan mökki toivottaa pienet porukat tervetulleeksi luonnon rauhaan. Rauhallinen sijainti, lähin naapuri noin 0,5km päässä. Mökiltä löytyy perusmukavuudet kuten tiski- ja pyykinpesukone. Mökkiin mahtuu mukavasti majoittumaan 4 henkilöä. Makuuhuoneessa on parisänky ja tuvan puolella vuodesohva. Patjoilla on mahdollista saada lisää nukkumapaikkoja. Lapsiystävällinen uimaranta sijaitsee noin 5 km päässä mökiltä. Uimarannalla saa uittaa myös lemmikkejä. Lemmikit tervetulleet!

Nearby Koskipuisto park leads to the Kämärä nature trail, heading towards the historic Taipale Canal, its museum, and a summer café. Järvinäköalalla oleva huoneisto sijaitsee aivan Pieksämäen keskustassa. N. 100 m säteellä löytyvät mm. Matkakeskus, Ruokakauppa, Veturitallit, Sähköauton latauspiste ja järvenrantaa kiertävä Ulkoilureitti. Kulttuurikeskus Poleeniin on 5 min. kävelymatka. Vedenjakajareitistö on muutaman kilometrin päässä. Huoneiston hintaan sisältyvät liinavaatteet valmiiksi pedattuina vuoteisiin, pyyhkeet, sekä aamiaistarvikkeita (kahvi, tee, sekä kaurahiutaleet).

This beautiful lakeside log cabin is located 25 km north of Mikkeli. Built in 2014, it invites you to relax and enjoy the peace and beauty of Finnish nature. The cabin is stylishly decorated with high-quality natural materials and offers a modern open-plan kitchen, two bedrooms with separable double beds (160 × 200 cm), a loft with a king-size bed, a bathroom, sauna, separate toilet, and a terrace. Bed linen, towels, and final cleaning are included.
