Lake house holiday rentals in Pine Mountain Lake

Buddha Retreat is lovely, comfortable, spacious and our host was attentive and generous. The home is very close to the entrance of Yosemite(30 minutes), and it is an hour and 15 minutes total to get to the Yosemite Valley from Buddha Retreat where most of the major sites are. We all felt that we had been taken 'care of' and that our experience surpassed our expectations. I think that is all you can hope for when you are away from your own home. We had discovered a couple of things that we thought we needed to share with our host for future guests and thought that our host would take in this information and correct it for the future guests, but instead it was dealt with immediately. It was surprising at first, but really was consistent with the superior attention that we had already received. I think you will be very pleased. We were.

We had a great time at our stay. The house was cozy and clean and you can tell a lot of memories have been made here. The house could use some updating of course but this did not affect any part of our stay as the house and amenities were all as described. The A/C worked well during mid-day when it go warm. Our groups only complaint was the trash situation. There really only one small can in the kitchen. It would really be helpful if there was a larger trash can somewhere and maybe one down by the water. All in all we would LOVE to stay again

Alaina's cabin is paradise. Gorgeous setting looking over Pine Mountain Lake. Beautiful space inside. Our family of 7 enjoyed all the rooms and amenities. Kayaking and paddle boarding. Playing board games on the deck. Meals at the large dining table. It was perfection and I highly recommend! Alaina answered all questions quickly and with kindness. 10/10

Great place near the lake, convenient to Yosemite. Had a lot of fun using the kayak and paddle boards that were provided. Cozy home with comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location! Todd’s lakefront home was the perfect fit for our family of five. First of all the location – right on the lake with your own private dock and all of the gear you could possibly need to enjoy it – stand up paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, floats, etc.! Everything was an excellent condition throughout. Todd‘s attention to detail in providing a well stocked kitchen with herbs and spices, Ziploc’s, paper towels, bath products, laundry detergents and all the essentials to make it an easy, relaxing stay! We appreciated the lush, beach towels, and new bath towels. Every bedroom had comfortable beds and bedding. I enjoyed using the treadmill while looking out at the peaceful serene lake. The hot tub was also a bonus! We would highly recommend Todd as a responsive host and perfect peaceful family getaway! Thank you, Todd for an amazing stay!

Wow!! What an amazing stay the home is beautiful spacious clean and cozy. 2 bathrooms both with some toiletries running warm water and no issues. Bedrooms were very clean carpets spacious and cozy. I did however toss and turn as the pillows were pretty flat this is something my friends who stayed in the main rooms also echoed… No big deal. The grill worked very well and had gas in the tank as reported by the host which I appreciate. The porch space overall was amazing AC and ceiling fans kept us cool, living room couch was comfortable with the amazing TV setup. I loved the books and cards they had lying around as well. A bit farm from Yosemite if you’re going without a reservation you should leave no later than 5:15am to get to the gate by 6am. Would definitely stay here again. If you’re thinking about booking do not hesitate.

Amazing house right on the lake!!! I could have stayed there for a month. The deck looks right over the lake. Plenty of room with 4 bedrooms. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful home with all the amenities you need. So peaceful, clean, comfortable & private. Great base camp for Yosemite exploration - the West entrance is much less crowded than the South. We rented a boat at the marina and enjoyed fishing on the lake. I had a couple issues arise during my stay and Mary Helene was graciously understanding - a wonderful, communicative hostess! Highly recommend!

Place is great, feels that it was made by a designer for them selfs. Furniture and layout made us feel like home. It is a gated community and we could see woodpeckers, deer and turkey from top deck. When we got in, we felt that it was a little bit cold in the house and heater was looked at max temperature of 68F, but we wrote Amy and she responded quickly (even on Thanksgiving evening) and remotely raised the temperature for us. Please read the description carefully, as there is a extra charge for hot tub and parking.

The home was clean and super comfortable. We felt right at home the moment we entered the property. There's a lovely view out the back deck which was furnished with a nice patio set to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee in the am. It also had a great gas grill to barbeque. The home was stocked with anything you'd need to cook in the kitchen including beach towels, BBQ tools and even a picnic basket to go on a day outing or the lake! You could tell that a lot of thought went into making sure their guests had what they needed and plus some. Thank you Audrey and Craig! We'd definitley stay there again.

Great place to stay! We were visiting Yosemite National Park and it was a great location. My husband utilized the golf course that the house is located on and really enjoyed it! Jake and his wife were super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

The place was as clean, and as described. The host was responsive and quick to act. There was a bit of confusion around an listed amenity but the host made good the best he could on it and corrected the source of the confusion. Would definitely visit again.

My wife and I was extremely impressed with this home . Beautiful location! Hard to find any complaints with such lovely scenery all around you. Home was spacious and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. There was a slight hiccup with arrival - when putting in the home address into the gps it took us to a resident entrance that we were unable to go through. Had to reroute the visitor entrance - luckily there is a sign with the correct address, but would’ve preferred to know beforehand.

So glad we stayed here. The game room was great! So many games and things to stay busy with activities. Nice big comfy couch where the whole family enjoyed Christmas movies. Kitchen has everything you need plus more. Closet stocked with towels. Excellent views from all around.

Great neighborhood and very cozy home I had so much fun !!

Just absolutely wonderful and exactly like the photos. A real sense of just being in a beautiful and beautifully designed space full of perfect touches. I stayed a month and was very sad to leave! Aria was a great host and go-between with the rather draconian guardians of the gated community (every delivery has to be individually called in and you need a weekly pass to drive through the gate). Being a mile from the lake was wonderful as was the drive up the mountain. And of course you are close to Yosemite. Could not recommend it more highly.

Great stay! We do a yearly trip to Yosemite and always stay in Groveland. This home is charming, super clean, well maintained, easy and safe for kids (you can watch the kids play out back while you prep in the kitchen). One thing to note- no laundry (maybe this is a flexible amenity, as we didn’t inquire, but as we don’t live that far this isn’t a deal breaker for us). Thanks for having us!

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. Its location was exactly we were looking for, its warm interior and furnishings were so inviting, the amenities were excellent as was the water pressure in the shower. The washer-dryer worked very well and the kitchen layout was ideal. Also, having a morning cup of coffee on the deck that overlooks a gorgeous vista was icing on the cake! We would definitely rent again!! The host is terrific!
