Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We just returned from an incredible stay at Mountain Paradise, and it truly lived up to its name! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The home was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need — from kitchen essentials to cozy linens and thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra special. Mary Jane was an exceptional host. She clearly understands what travelers appreciate and went above and beyond to provide it. Communication was prompt and friendly, and she made sure we felt right at home. The peaceful mountain setting was absolutely breathtaking, and the property was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing escape or an adventure-filled getaway, Mountain Paradise is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return!

This stay was great! Perfect for a group with community center for the kiddos! The Horst was quick and responsive! Definitely recommend!

We loved staying in this beautiful, super clean home. We loved starting our morning on the patio listening to all of the sounds of nature. It was the perfect ending to our day as well. We were fairly close to the beaches, El Yunque, great restaurants, and stores. Jennifer was so fast to respond to any inquiries we had. We couldn’t have asked for more. We would go back in a heartbeat! A wonderful experience!

Our family had the most amazing stay in Luquillo! The location, landscaping, and views were absolutely breathtaking. We spent the majority of our time enjoying the outdoor area, where we grilled, swam, and soaked in the beauty of the surrounding scenery. The home was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of eight and was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay. Rosa, our host, was incredibly friendly and responsive to any questions or needs that arose. Her attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable. We created so many wonderful memories during our stay, and I would absolutely return in the future. This was truly a getaway to remember!

We enjoyed our stay here and felt very safe in the neighborhood. If you are traveling with young kids, the house is perfect - they had a pack and play set up (I asked ahead of time), and they also have a kids table, kids plates/cups, and some toys. It was the perfect amount of space for our family (there were 8 of us in total). We loved being a short drive away from the beach and kiosks. One tip (unrelated to the home) - if you are visiting El Yunque, check your GPS route before driving to make sure it takes you on to Route 3 first. Our GPS took us through back roads only, which were VERY narrow (for 2 way traffic) and were nerve wracking to drive through if you’re not used to that. Going back home, we took Route 3 and felt much more confident taking those roads. Again, nothing to do with the house itself (house was great!), just a heads up regarding driving directions if you’re headed to the rainforest.

Thomas’s place was wonderful. The container house is on top of a hill. The view is very pastoral and peaceful with green space right out the door and the ocean in the distance. The place was super clean. Thomas thoroughly and quickly responded to our questions. The place was close to the beach and the mountains. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Perfect home to get away from the city areas and enjoy a more local home grown town. The shower’s water pressure is not the best but wasn’t too much of a deal breaker. They provided all the beach necessities as well as even personal travel items that one may forget to pack which was super helpful. The view is absolutely amazing and the space was perfect for spending some family time. Will definitely consider staying here again. ♥️

Everything was great except that the water went out in the building on our last day. Was not the host’s fault. He was proactive in responding and was able to provide a solution. The views to the beach was nice from the location.

If the words Tranquillity, Rest and Peace don’t appeal to you, don’t stay here. For us, this was our 2nd visit to Ladera Retreat. And, as long as we make it back to the island I’m confident it won’t be our last! Val and Ed really have really outdone themselves with this property. Not only is the location beautiful to look at, the sounds of the coqui’s and birds are beautiful to hear. The property was spotless, comfortable and enjoyed by all. In addition to the more common amenities one might find at an AirB&B, Val and Ed have provided beach chairs. Towels, board games and even sand toys for the kids (so considerate). My family had an amazing vacation here! Thanks Val and Ed. PS. Ask Val about touring the farm when you are there! For a small fee we received an educational tour and were taught about native plants and sustainable farming, we fed chickens and turkeys and sampled so many fruits (including cocoa) from their bounty!

As this was my first Air BnB experience, it was fantastic thanks to Carlos's great communication before and during the trip. Clean place, nicely accessorized kitchen. I would highly recommend as its extremely close to the beach. I cant comment on local restaurants as I did not partake there, but the island is known for the cuisine.

The condo is as advertised. The view from the balcony is awesome. The condo is indeed steps from the beach. The condo building complex is ok. The elevators are temperamental and only one was in service the whole 10 days that we were there. The condo is close to El Yunque, Fajardo, and the Kiosk shops and restaurants. It’s about 45 mins from San Juan and the airport. So fairly convenient if you have a car and are able and willing to drive while on vacation. The community is gated and has a guard on duty 24/7 so getting in and out is not an issue. The condo felt a little smaller than the pictures, especially the kitchen, but that is probably because we are used to bigger spaces in the Midwest. All in all a great place to spend your vacation.

I stayed here with my family and we were amazed by this Airbnb from the moment we opened the door. Everything was sparkly clean and nicely decorated. We felt right at home. The host was great and got back to us quick with any questions. I will definitely stay here again.

From the time we pulled up to the community felt just like home. Breathtaking view of mountains and ocean and close to numerous beaches. Loved having garage to park in. Townhouse was spacious and modern. Balcony was 5 star off master suite 🌟 Thank you Maureen and Alex for the to do suggestions. Loved the local food

My fiancé and I stayed 2 weeks here and it was amazing! The condo is so comfortable and had everything we needed!! We made lunches in the kitchen and walked into town for dinner ( we tried it all and it was all so good!! ) the hammock was a major plus to add to relaxation and we slept so easy to sounds of the ocean ! As far as the building itself it’s older and a little tired ( part of being so close to the ocean and going through extreme weather I’d suppose) but there are people constantly working to take care of it best they can , sweeping and mopping common areas , Painting, they even got a new elevator while we were there! We felt safe and happy and could feel the love the locals have for their home and land . The people were all friendly and the view from the patio is beyond words, endless ocean and the Reserve close by kept us out there most of the time just marveling!! Add the miles of walkable beach in, and this place literally offers it all!!!! Can’t wait to come back!

This place was great. All of the amenities listed were as described. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi. The days we were there we had some clouds and rain therefore the pool felt a bit cold and the jacuzzi did not have hot water. This is more on the maintenance of the building i belive not the host. It would have been nice but the view made up for it 1000%. The apartment was nice, had plenty of room, beautiful kitchen, really nice balcony to enjoy the views and amazing breeze. PR lost power for several hours and Tania reached out to us immediately to give us additional instructions to navigate the situation. Luckily, the complex has generators so literally other than a quick flicker of the lights its all we noticed. Everything worked in the apartment as if nothing was happening. This was a PLUS! The apartment has everything you need to stay in or to go out from chairs, coolers, toys for the beach or pool! Really loved our stay. Great location to everything you need to do in PR.

It’s an excellent place to stay and connect with the beach and nature. The apartment is very beautiful, modern, comfortable, and breezy. It’s very well located—I was able to get to Fajardo and Naguabo in less than half an hour. The hosts are very attentive and willing to help with anything you might need. The apartment comes equipped with a cooler, beach chair, and umbrella.

Eric was very responsive and helpful. He was on top of sending me the check in instructions and check out instructions. The Airbnb itself is beautiful and perfect for a couple of days. The private beach access closes at 6pm which was inconvenient but that is my only complaint as we had to walk all the way around. It’s a good spot if you plan on visiting El Yunque and Fajardo. Safe area and people are really nice.

What more can I say besides THE VIEW 😍. Idalia provided everything you could need from the outdoor seating and hammock, to condiments if you wanted to cook. This place is a 10/10 and I would book it one hundred times over!!

Beautiful, clean and cozy apartment perfect for my girls and I. The view of the beach is stunning and the location felt safe for a single mother with girls. The host was very responsive. I highly recommend!!
