Casa Poesía keeps traditional El Hierro architecture alive; stone walls, a juniper-chip ceiling, and the private patio make a harmonious architectural ensemble that maintains the love of a poetic home. Built by my paternal grandparents in 1900-restored in recent years step by step and with a lot of love, in the last 3 years we renovated the staircase, changed the windows and door of the upper floor, creativity and art are mimicked in the essence of the house. Casa Abuela Juana

Juana, my great-grandmother, was the first owner of the house. Several generations have been enjoying the house, mainly in summer. I have numerous childhood memories with my cousins, uncles, and grandparents, playing cards or dominoes in the yard. And we grew up enjoying the town's festivities and enjoying the surroundings and its many routes. I hope that Casa Abuela Juana conveys some of the happiness of those family moments and that you feel at home.

I am renting a tiny house below my property in the gulf valley of El Hierro. Shower outside, loo inside. A small kitchen beside the accomodation, which is for one person only. Good WIFI-access. This is no hotel-room in the wilderness, no wardrobe. Basic and cozy.
