Our house is a semidetached house in a condominium of 17 buildings, called Lagoon Ocean Resort . This is no typical resort with a reception, guest entertainment and so on. It is a quiet retreat, with access only for residents and guests. You find a parking for your car and a swimming pool with shower, deckchairs and a typical palapa that offers shade. This is all in a well-maintained compound with blossoming plants. Nearby are the sandy beach and two retaurants /bars with affordable prices.

Miramar was like a little slice of heaven!!!! The views were awesome, with several verandas to soak it all in. It was nice having our own little beach and restaurants next door, plus lots to do a mere car ride away. Also, many reviews reported the lack of a grocery store in the area. We found the New California Market more than met our needs and was a 24 minute drive. Go ahead, hit the reserve button, for you will miss an awesome vacation retreat if you wait!!

The best decision was to stay in Ellemieke's apartment!!! Beautiful place, it's much nicer than in the photos, very comfortable, very clean and very safe. Lagun beach is just a staircase away and is one of the most beautiful beaches in Curaçao! The best thing is that Ellemieke let us leave at the time we wanted, she was flexible with the departure, we took advantage of the last minute. Totally recommended, I would pay for it again when I return to Curacao.

I have to say that Ingrids place was really perfect. The sunsets were spectacular, as were the morning cups of coffee as the sun peeked over the mountains. Followed by a jump in the ocean & a quick swim. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the meals we made there & it was just a short drive to so many great things to do & see. We enjoyed being away from the hustle of the city and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for the same. If we’re ever lucky enough to return to Curaçao, we will definitely be staying here again.

This is a great spot! It's in a really cute neighborhood that's a close walk to downtown and also a close walk to various beach spots in the other direction. It feels secluded from the action of the city with all the amenities you need. Would gladly stay here again!

The property is in the middle of nature on a large property, is perfectly equipped and everything is even more beautiful than in the photos. Particularly noteworthy is the lime tree with lots of fruits and the brand new WEBER gas grill. A rental car is of course mandatory, but then you can easily explore the entire north of the island and you can also get to Willemstad in half an hour. Etson lives on the neighboring property and is always available if needed. Roy also takes care of everything from the Netherlands. 100% recommendation - thank you so much!

Playa Lagun is a special area and we can’t say enough about how perfect the location is for this place. The views from the porch are absolutely stunning. We had a few iguana and bird friends that greeted us each morning for a snack. The condo was well stocked and the grounds were beautiful. There are only a few restaurants and no grocery stores nearby so make sure you visit a grocery prior to making the drive. Lagun is so close to all of the great things about the island. Be sure to visit the nearby beaches, hiking, and caves.
