Holiday rentals with breakfast in Podgorica Municipality

We arrived late in the evening but Ivan greeted us without complaints (even though he had to drive from Podgorica to meet us). He took the time to show us the entire property and gave us a bottle of their own wine. Then a very helpful guy came every morning to clean the pool, water the grass and ask if we needed anything. There is a possibility of ordering breakfast but we made our own since we prefer something lighter than omelettes to start our day. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a grill outside but we didn't get to use any of the facilities because we had to try all the restaurants near and far. We stayed in "murva" house which is - as we were told - the oldest of them and we loved the traditional furniture, fireplace and its rustic charm. The place is 10 min drive from the main (Podgorica - Danilovgrad - Niksic) road so you need a car to get there and around. There is not much to do except enjoy sounds of nature by the pool but that was just what we came for.

For me it was perfect staying in this Airbnb! It’s a beautiful old house with a great location. Very natural and authentic. The view from the terrace is super beautiful and the oven made it cozy in the evening. The friendly host made sure I have everything I need.

We received incredible hospitality in the most beautiful area of Montenegro. This trip exceeded our expectations. We were very impressed by the location, the experiences, the food and the wine served to us at Markos place. A unique, special and memorable stay. Highly recommend!!!

A beautiful location, this house has everything you need for a lovely stay. The hosts were very welcoming and even gave us grapes and figs from their land which were delicious. You also have access to bikes which is great! The house sits on a large garden which you can walk around and take in the views. The house was nice a cool in the hot summer weather. The hosts were available for any questions we had about the local area and site-seeing etc. We highly recommend!

Savo is very nice person. He’s helpful and fast response. The room is clean and have good amenities. The dishes his wife made was also really nice! We also had a great time for boat trip and kayak in Lake Skadar. Recommended stay.

Wow. I don’t even know how to describe the phenomenal experience we had here. This feels more like staying with family then it does an Airbnb. The hosts are incredibly kind and friendly, even with a language barrier we were able to connect and felt incredibly welcomed. The space is gorgeous, big and bright with a beautiful porch overlooking the village and out to the lake in the distance. We ate dinner prepared by the family which was delightful (bring cash!), the homemade wine was delicious, and the highlight was certainly the boat tour and conversations had with our hosts. Truly a unique and special time, and well worth driving the fairly stressful mountain road to reach the accommodation. Also, the family dachshund Jerry is great! I would recommend this experience to anyone seeking to explore this beautiful area and authentic connection with locals. A true gem.

Bojana's place was perfect for our short stay in virpazar the flat, is only a small walk away from the centre of town, and it overlooks the mountains. the place was very clean and well equipped. Moreover, Bojana and her family are so sweet and helpful, they were always very available and even dropped us of at the bus station the day we left. They also, organise boat tours and kayak rentals on the lake, that were totally worth it!

Savo was a lovely host and even drove us to the nearby virpazar village, the Airbnb had everything we needed and the views from the windows were stunning ☺️❤️

Mladen and his family are warm, friendly and extremely helpful. We felt very welcome and taken care of. The food at Mladen was delicious and made from ingredients from their own garden or specially fished by Mladen. The wine that Mladen himself produces is also highly recommended. In addition, we enjoyed the boat trip with Mladen very much. The pool for the evening jump into the cool water was a nice bonus.

Very helpful and kind hosts. We arrived pretty late by train and the host's mother picked us up by car. The room had everything we needed. They even allowed us to leave our luggage in the room after check-out and pick it up later. Just remember to be careful on the road when walking to the lake. However, after a few minutes there is a small path you can take that is much safer. Would definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place is so cute and very clean. Bojana and her mother were so kind, helpful and lovely. They helped us with the boat tour, to wash our clothes and everything! I would recommend a million time ☀️
