O Muíño da Balsiña (mill)

In the heart of Galicia, just 40 km from Santiago de Compostela, "O Muíño da Balsiña" is an old watermill in a nature reserve on the Arnego River. Guests love the privacy, the hammocks, bathing in the river, stargazing and Xoana the cat. Neighbours include peregrine falcons, nightjars, kingfishers, bats, pine martens, genets, otters, lizards. We present our beautiful apartment located in a unique enclave, where we can find the old Roman bridge of Ponte Ledesma and the spectacular Gres Islands that form the Ulla River in its path, a wonderful natural place with a recreational area and river beach. In the nearby area is the house of the writer Xosé Neira Vilas, the recreational area of "A Carixa", Balneario da Brea, Fervenza da Toxa ... and all this is 20 minutes from Santiago de Compostela.
