Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

Sleeping 11, the Quinta has 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a fully furnished living area, a dining area, an outdoor kitchen, a private dining and outdoor BBQ area with charcoal grill and pizza oven, a terrace with a spectacular view of the river and forest and an outdoor pool (shared).

Stone House - AL

The Stone House with an area of 19 m2, is located on the banks of the Alva River, on the river beach of Vimieiro, considered the best river beach, by the magazine "Guia das Praias Fluviais", The house has a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Surrounded by a unique landscape, you can observe the irrigation wheel and the mill still in operation. The picnic area with barbecue and playground are also an attraction for those who visit us. Ideal place for a weekend for two.

This gem, surrounded by nature, will ensure you have a peaceful stay. This studio is completely independent from the main house, with its own kitchen and bathroom. You can use the pool, bbq and all veranda areas. The owners live in the main house. Be amazed by the nature areas and the river stream, all within our private land. It is a perfect place to rest and recharge. Our house is also within 7 miles from the beach. Shops, restaurants and other amenities can be found within a mile.

Escape to our enchanting 19th-century stone watermill located in 5 acres of nature, nestled in the valley at the foot of the Serra da Lousa in the peaceful village of Foz de Arouce. Relax on your own little island overlooking the river, or walk down to the beach for a swim or to experience paddle boarding, fishing or swim in the crystal clear waters and watch the bright stars in the night skies. Perfect location for hiking, mountain biking, sight seeing, relaxation.

Stay in a newly renovated stone farm house built in 1888 on top of an ancient Roman road. Sozen Mill is the perfect place to enjoy the sun and breathe fresh air in a unique atmosphere. With a stream that flows into the Zêzere River and small crystalline waterfalls, it is a setting of unparalleled natural beauty. This property consists of 2 independent bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a combination kitchen and living room. The rooms have no connection to the interior of the house. It's a place to connect with nature.

At Casinha do Rio, you will find a cozy space with all the amenities you need for a relaxing, carefree stay. Your entire stay will be accompanied by the melancholic sound of the river and the imposing presence of the waterfall that is located right in front of the building. The house is located in a quiet area, despite being located a few meters from the center of the village of Miranda do Corvo.

Casa Rio

"Casa Rio" is located in the municipality of Penacova. The house is on the shores of Lake Mondego. It can accommodate a maximum of 4 people in a pleasant and quiet setting. It consists of a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds, and a bathroom. Parking is free and easy in front of the house. A garden with a deck chair and garden table is now available for guests.

Coimbra Balcony

Located in a quiet village, the Varanda de Coimbra accommodation, open since May 2025, is ideal for relaxing or for an overnight stay during a tour between Penacova, Lorvão and Coimbra. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is the possibility of dining at the accommodation, subject to booking and availability. Flexible check-in and check-out upon request.
