we had a really great time!!! im always worried about feeling safe and i definitely felt safe there which is always my top concern. the horses were the entire best part though 🐴 theres 5 of them and theyre all total sweethearts. i spent the majority of my trip at the fence hanging out with them, i just loved them. ❤️❤️❤️

This listing is worth every penny! Perfect size, perfect amenities, perfect location! We used this as our place to go visit Cherry Springs and it was everything we could have imagined! We had everything we needed to stay for a short trip but could’ve easily stayed for a week and felt right at home here. Everything was clean and usable. No issues or complaints. Also, the views of the night sky from this house are almost as good as being at Cherry Springs! Totally blown away by the views and the house! Chelsea was an amazing host, too! She was prompt with her responses and everything was explained well. We didn’t have a single issue. We plan on saving this location for a future visit!

Beautiful historic home with lots of charm. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay such as comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and kitchen glasses, plates, utensils, etc. We would definitely stay here again. Ellie and Rob were easy to communicate with and were available anytime. They cared about our needs and wanted to be sure we had everything necessary to enjoy the town.

Our stay was absolutely unforgettable. What stood out most was the incredible connection to nature—during our visit, we spotted two bald eagles, explored beautiful hiking trails which made the experience truly special. We had family with us, including my in-laws, and everyone agreed: the only regret was not booking a few extra days. We had such an incredible time during our stay! I brought my three-year-old daughter with me, and she was able to hike the easier trail by my side—she even helped me find fossils, which was such a fun and memorable moment for both of us. My in-laws especially enjoyed relaxing in the movie theater room and spending evenings playing board games after a full day of hiking, exploring trails, and canoeing on the lake. It was the perfect getaway for all ages, and we’re so grateful for the experience! The setting was peaceful, the surroundings were stunning, and it was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect. We’re already talking about coming back next year!

Beautiful place to stay and it’s super homey. The best part is the view you get. It’s absolutely stunning and pictures don’t do it justice. I hope to come back someday.

Had a one night stay in Cabin 9, after Aaron upgraded us from what I think was a smaller cabin. The property was easy to find, and very easy to check into. The surrounding area was very clean and expansive. The cabin was very cozy, and quaint. Also very clean and well organized. Aaron went above and beyond to make our stay special, will definitely be back and recommend!

Our family recently stayed at this beautiful Airbnb, and it was truly one of the best experiences we've ever had. Both cabins were immaculate - clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. From kitchen essentials to baby toys, every detail was considered, making it incredibly easy for us to settle in and feel at home. The property itself is stunning and clearly well-maintained. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into making it a welcoming space. Communication was seamless; the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating from start to finish. Whether you're traveling with kids or just looking for a peaceful, well-equipped getaway, this place is a hidden gem. We’re already looking forward to our next stay. Our family Highly recommends!

Location is close enough to the State Park that we felt we didn’t need to go to the park and sky watched at the house.

We had a very relaxing vacation and everything in the description was accurate. The privacy in this location was amazing and the property is beautiful.

Clean, uncluttered space. Nice layout and amenities. Perfect for relaxing in a tranquil setting. A good-sized hot tub under a roof, which made our rainy stay enjoyable. The location has been tastefully chosen to have a shed block the view to this lodge from the house a couple of hundred yards away. Back a gravel road, which fit exactly what we wanted.

A great place to stay in Austin. Close to where we wanted to be. The house was super comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again. We woke up Saturday to no power, and I reached out to Hilary and she got back to me asap. No issues at all. We would def stay again!
