Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Praia da Saúde

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

Great place. Close to the ferry station, bakeries and markets nearby, amazing views of Lisbon. The house had everything we needed; the host provided the kitchen and bathroom essentials. We felt right at home. One little issue, the beds were not very comfortable.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. The apartment is located in a very quiet location in Sintra and is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The private parking right in front of the entrance is very convenient. Patricia is a really sociable and helpful person and welcomed us very warmly. Really a great experience ☺️

Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.

A Perfect Stay in Amora, Portugal! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house in Amora was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly welcoming. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special—starting with the thoughtful welcome basket filled with local treats and essentials. Such a lovely touch! One of our favorite parts of the stay was the pool. It was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also really appreciated the owner’s local recommendations—every spot they suggested was a hit, from charming cafes to hidden gems in the area. Thanks to their guidance, we discovered a nearby beach frequented mostly by locals—and it was absolute paradise. Quiet, stunning, and totally unspoiled. It made our trip even more magical. The house is as it appears in the photos, the area is beautiful, in a pine forest that takes you to endless beaches, you have restaurants in the same village and nearby villages, which Patricia, a 10-star host, recommended. If you don't want to move, there is a supermarket nearby, and you can dine on your terrace, enjoying the sunset in the pool. It's just been a perfect vacation

Very well designed place .. it’s a very quiet and private newly renovated house .. someone put a lot of thought into the architecture and design of every detail .. agent was very easy to communicate with .. everything was perfect

We consider this house to be on another level when it comes to the traditional Airbnb. You are essentially living in a private part of a palatial mountainside with amazing views of the forest , coastline and sunsets. The house is an ancient hermitage that is supremely well kept and the owners’ sophistication shines through. The gardens and terraces are absolutely beautiful and a joy to walk around with ponds, fountains and lovely forest pathways. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals. Beds are very comfortable and Mariana, the housekeeper, keeps the house spotless and the grounds are very well kept by the gardener. Cristina who owns the property is the most generous host who greeted us with a delicious homemade quiche and other provisions so we did not have to go shopping upon our arrival which was fantastic after a long journey. When visiting Sinatra, this home is such a privilege and will only enhance your stay!

Little very cozy house in a fantastic place!

The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!

Loved everything about this air BnB. Celso had thought of absolutely everything, probably the most well equipped air BnB we’ve ever stayed in. To wake up in the dunes and watch sunset from them was such a treat - hope to return again soon! Recommend avoiding heavy luggage and packing smaller overnight bags to make it easy getting from the car park to the air BnB. Would also recommend princesa beach club for lunch nearby, had a great day here.

In the middle of Lisbon yet enough privacy and space. Thoughtfully designed. The team was very helpful and answered any requests promptly!

We had a great stay with our ten month old baby. The apartment is small but has everything you need and we enjoyed meals on the terrace. The area is very walkable with ocean, beach, parks, restaurants, cafes and mini markets all nearby. It has historic character and charm.

Very nice apartment in a great location to explore the city by foot or via metro. Very quiet at night and very pretty interior. The view from the living room is also a spectacular panorama of the city.

Joana’s place worked really well for our stay. Convenient location, lots going on, easy for taxis to drop off and pick up, great outdoor space and amenities in the apartment. Very responsive and helpful host. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time staying at Joana’s flat in Alfama. She was extremely responsive and had no issue with us checking in a few hours early since it was available. The place is gorgeous and has beautiful views of the river where you can see the cruises leaving port. There is an abundance of great restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk of the place which made us feel like we barely had to leave the Alfama district and we could really settle in and enjoy the neighborhood we stayed in for a few days. There was even one of the big festivals in the streets beginning our last night, which made it easy to enjoy the music, food and drinks while being able to quickly and safely get back to home base. Just a note, the place is quite a hike up the hill from Santa Apolonia Station (hills in Lisbon are unavoidable) and on the 4th floor, which was no issue but it may be something to be aware of for individuals with decreased mobility or if you tend to travel with a lot of luggage.
