My stay was lovely. I wish I didn't have to leave. It's spacious, it's cosy, it's clean and it's beautiful. It honestly does feel like a way away from home. And Marie? An absolute sweetheart. I will definitely be returning.

Peter was a great host. Greeted me, responded to all my messages but gave me a lot of privacy. When I didn’t need him, I never saw him. Location is about 15-20 minutes walking to shops which might be a little too far but uber is inexpensive. Greenside is centrally located if you’re doing things in Joburg north. The place was fairly basic but very clean and well-maintained. Had no issues with electricity, pests or sanitation. Would stay here again.

Renate’s place was pristine, clean, minimalist, warm and all the nice things! We checked in a day before my birthday and she even got us a cake. She goes over and beyond for her guests and is a friendly and warm presence. Did I already mention how perfectly clean the room was! You have to go there for yourself to truly experience this. Thanks Renate!

Staying at Mandy's was absolutely fantastic! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe, the house is gated and the location was central to everything I needed. 4th street is also just a quick walk away and has a bunch of cute stores and restaurants. Mandy was super responsive and made sure I had heating in the apartment (during winter). Would definitely recommend and would love to come back if I am in the area again!

What fantastic, spacious and luxurious accommodation. The kitchen has everything you need to feel at home and prepare your own food. Richard and his family are welcoming and friendly, but you have complete privacy at the same time. I look forward to staying again.

Absolutely wonderful place for a peaceful getaway ! Loved that I could take a stroll to the golf course and enjoy the sport or a wonderful meal ! Host was responsive at all times and the place had a wonderful ‘home feel’ . Definitely going back again :) !

What a lovely stay at Sarah’s beautiful place. I stayed for two nights for a business trip in the city. Everything was spotless. Sarah is a thoughtful and responsive host and will come back anytime I need to be in the city again.

I travel a lot for work. And this was by far the best experience I have ever had. Amazing place. Amor was more than amazing. They really paid detailed attention making the place so nice.

I really enjoyed my stay, Petro was a great host and has a beautiful place, Nice shopping Mall nearby. (I visited one but there are more) I dont know why another guest in reviews didnt like location because if you book you must do your homework. For myself it was just street down from where I wrote my exams and near everything that I needed. It shows on the pictures but I did'nt pay much attention, there is pain pills , salve for burns ect,ect, extra toothbrush and paste , deodorant, feminine higiene products , hairband and clips, perfume.... a basket full of stuff you can use till you get to a shop. Impressive extra touch. Thank you for my welcoming board and cooking. See you next year again.

Wow! This is to be one of my favourite stays. The cottage was perfect for a few nights stay, but I wished I could’ve stayed longer. Great full kitchen, the bread, butter, milk etc was very much appreciated. Beautiful rooms, comfy bed, nice lounge, Netflix, beautiful space with nice lighting. The shower was a highlight with great water pressure! Could not fault it and highly recommend.

Cindy is a great host... really dedicated and totally on the ball. Her place is beautiful with great touches. A very trust worthy place to stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at Jolandi’s place! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The space was not only spotless and cozy, but the extra touches truly made it feel special—like the breakfast ingredients, bottled water, board games, and even snacks. It’s clear that Jolandi genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. Communication was smooth, check-in was easy, and everything I needed was provided. I've had a great stay at Frances's house. The location is the best in Johannesburg, it's very close to Zoo Lake (which is very beautiful for walkings and watching birds), Rosebank Mall (shopping center and restaurants, a lot of coffeeshops). Besides, this area is quiet and safe for tourists. And it was such a pleasure to meet Frances. If you're interested in South African culture, art, life in Johannesburg - this is the best place for you to stay with Frances. Thank you for the accommodation and all the help from you! Johannesburg is one of me favorite cities now.

Sibylle is such a sweetheart. We absolutely loved staying at her place. The space was clean, easy to relax and work if one needs to. If I am ever in the area I would not hesitate coming back. We appreciated the fresh fruits, yoghurt and muesli. Her recommendations and books will give anyone a great orientation of what to do in Johannesburg. Sally is a friendly lady. Her place is suitable and comfortable enough for me as it has mini kitchen with all necessary stuff. She has a nice garden with blooming flowers and chirping birds calling it home every morning. Walking distance to grocery and fast food, nice neighborhood.

An absolute gem! Hosts Billy and Carol go out of their way to enhance the experience. Very well stocked cabin with breakfast goodies and many more little touches that do really make it feel like home. Quiet with a lovely secluded garden to sit and relax in. I'm coming back for a second stay! Highly highly recommended.

Nicci’s place was home away from home with attention to detail to the smallest things. With the temperatures dropping due to season’s change a heater was available to warm up the room. Working space was handy too. Tranquil if you want peaceful surroundings. Fresh milk & tusks were a nice treat, including the tea and coffee station
