Situated at only a five minute walk from the center of Gordes, this authentic (and lovingly renovated) Provencal home offers a spacious and relaxing setting. Heated (in the summermonths june to sept) outside pool, large well equipped kitchen, beautifully maintained garden. Here absolute tranquillity is guaranteed. Gordes is a lively village with good restaurants, an interesting chateau and art museum and a multitude of shops specialising in colorful arts and crafts of the Provence. The best location to set of exploring the region Lubéron-Aix en Provence-Avignon Een volledig ingerichte keuken, beter dan bij jou thuis. Nu ook airco in de kamers This is a vacation/holiday house. We don't live nearby. Gordes is a classified medieval village "un des plus beaux villages de France". Many tourists during the day, but very quiet in the morning until 9h30, then again from 19h onwards. Our house is completely isolated from the road, you only hear birds sing and the church-bell in the morning! Starry starry nights... It is also ideal for biking in the spring and autumn months. Not to hot. Biking rental shop at 5km, Mont Ventoux one hour, hilly villages in the surroundings. Biker’s Paradise! Gordes is 50 minutes away by car from Intl.Airport Marseille-Provence, 35 minutes drive from the TGV-station at Avignon. 2 hours drive from the Cote d'Azur. The winding road from the main road to our Mas is medieval, with a width of only 2 meters. Small cars pass easily, even a Bmw 3 or Audi 4, a Rolls needs some more practice. we are the only house in the end of the road, this gives us a natural security.

Salonenque, Granges du Bosquet, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

Salonenque is part of our Domaine with a total of 5 houses for guests. They are all located around the courtyard but with plenty of privacy. Salonenqque is the only house with a private garden. The swimming pool is shared with the other guests and is on a different level. Between the swimming pool and the houses is a fence for safety. Next to the swimming pool is a large loft that is shared with all guests. There are plenty of sun beds for everyone. The Domaine was the first settlement of the village L' Isle sur la Sorgue and is still "above" it. All houses are private for the tenants and will not be shared. The pool is shared, as is the beautiful loft next to it. The washing machine is in a separate room and is shared. There is always someone present. We have a (NL) caretaker couple. A piece of authentic Provence. With beautiful light, plenty of sun and in our neighborhood still little of the bling bling of the Cote d 'Azur to notice. Around us, there are many cute old Roman villages and beautiful nature. Our own village is lively throughout the year, there are always restaurants and terraces open. The coast is an hour away from us, the wine regions are 20/30 minutes away Train and bus are in the village. That is about 20 minutes walk or just over 5 minutes by bike. Bicycles are available for our guests. We are located in the countryside, small roads, but only 5 minutes by bike from the village.

My place is a village house, which has a staircase to access the floor and then after all the rooms are on one level however there are a few steps. The house has a separate kitchen from a large living room with a sofa bed, a room with a double bed and a bathroom. There is a small terrace. Our house is part of the history of the village, it represents the old Provencal houses. We added essential equipment.
