The apartment is situated at the foot of Lattari mountains in lush green countryside, nestled amongst walnut groves and vineyards, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, a short distance from Pompei, Capri, Sorrento, Paestum e Royal Palace of Caserta. The apartment is in the centre of Tramonti, a small town, 400 metres high above sea level boasting panoramic views, just 7 kilometres from Maiori beach. Tramonti is the birthplace of Mario Cuomo's mother, three times Governor of the State of New York and Andrew Cuomo's grandmother, up till now Governor of the same State. The cold and strong wind which blows from the mountains to the seawards, called by the mariners from all over the world "Tramontana" takes its name from Tramonti. The apartment accomodation is deal for both families and groups. It was renovated in 2000 on the remains of a building dating back to 1600 and consists of spacious rooms located on the ground floor, equipped with central heating and independent entrance. It is composed of a living-room, one double bedroom, both furnished in rustic and internally separated by a glass enclosed in handmade wooden bow, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Pets are welcome. Inglish, French and Spanish are spoken.
