This cozy cottage (with AC in bedrooms) located in Esperanza, will be an easy base to go explore all the beauty of Vieques. Walk about 1/2 mile to the Malecon, and find many restaurants, bars, gift shops. Beach gear (chairs, towels, cooler and more) is available when you're ready to head to the sea. Relax on the front porch and watch the horses wander past. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. A workspace is available also. Come fall in love with this beautiful corner of paradise.

This place was great! Perfect location for a night on Vieques. Within walking distance of all the best restaurants and tour meeting points for the bio bay! The beds were comfortable and the space fit our group of 5 with space for more. She also provided beach chairs and a cooler for longer stays and beach days! I’ve stayed in several places on the island and this is one of the best. 10/10 recommend and would stay there again!

This was by far one of our favorite stays we’ve ever done in our lives, and we’ve both visited 50+ countries — the Airbnb was perfect, so beautiful and pristine—you’re totally in nature without feeling like you’re roughing it at all. Robert has paid attention to every detail and stocked the home with everything you could think of ahead of your arrival, from sunscreen and bug spray and beach chairs to waters in the freezer to take to the playa. We can’t wait to come back asap — would come stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Robert, you made our honeymoon so beautiful!!!

What a dream! Mosquitos and all! Thank goodness for the mosquito net that felt like an adult fort. I will NEVER forget how magical it was to shower in the outdoor shower and watch the sunset. The pool was like something straight out of a movie. We got to meet the host, Joe, when we walked up to use it and he and his wife were extra welcoming! Having a portable cooler available was an added bonus for our long Beach days. Everything requires some sort of rental transportation to get around. The rainforest noises at night were dreamy and we loved listening to the rainstorm that passed through.

As soon as we walked in and smelled the Fabuloso, we knew we were in a place that took pride in cleanliness. The adjoining restaurant has great food and the staff is very polite. It’s a party strip and the locals are pleasantly welcoming. We would definitely plan another stay at Amapola Inn.

What a great spot! I love staying in Esperanza and this was perfect. So close to the malecon, walkable to bars and restaurants and a short ride to the beaches and refuge. Loved being so close to the green store. The patio area was so perfect in the evenings and horses grazed in the field right outside of your door. 10/10, will definitely stay again for future trips!!
