Point Paradise

We had a great weekend at this beautiful Lake Wedowee home! The house was clean and well-stocked, and the host was very accommodating with our last-minute booking and late arrival. A representative met us and walked us through all the amenities. The basement had a fun bar area with ping pong and air hockey. The backyard had a gentle slope with a rock path down to the water, where we docked our boat for the weekend. The nearby boat launch was super convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the gas grill was a nice bonus. The hot tub was perfect after long days of fishing. The house is pet-friendly with a fenced area and deck gates to keep them safe while still enjoying the outdoors. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Enjoy our Million Dollar View!

ValerieRating, 5 stars5 months ago
A gorgeous accommodation! We booked this lake house as a business retreat for our office employees. We needed a 2-day retreat to reflect on 2024 and plan for the new year. This was perfect with the layout of all the bedrooms, bathrooms, space for meeting, and an industrial kitchen to prepare all of our meals together. It was just the retreat we needed! The house was decorated nicely with a cozy and clean feel. Even though it was winter on the lake, the views were still beautiful!

Cozy Retreat on Wedowee (south).

MalandaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Sally's place has lots of space with plenty of beds, and the location on the lake was amazing. It did get a little busy on the weekend with the neighboring docks, but we still had plenty of great access to the water to enjoy it. There was an issue with the electricity at the dock, but Sally had an electrician out to resolve it. I highly recommend if you want to visit the lake with a larger group.

Come visit our Nautical Nook!

Tim was a great host. The house was great for our trip. Everything you need was provided. The house was clean and accommodating. The outside hangout area was great with a tv, bbq and plenty of seating. Very quiet town close to everything. We highly recommend Boondocks BBQ and the Cheaha scenic road was great to drive. We will be back with Tim for our next visit to the area.

It was a beautiful home on the lake. We were there for a baseball tournament, and our family was able to stay together under one roof. The house had everything we needed for a great stay.

Secluded Riverfront Cabin Oasis

AmyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an amazing, peaceful escape! This cabin sits in a bend of the Tallapoosa River at the quiet end of a row — scenic, serene, and incredibly relaxing. Rain on the metal roof? Bliss. The occasional train? Great background noise. We even spotted otters and watched lightning bugs at night — pure magic. The cabin is cozy, well-decorated, and stocked with the basics. Internet/TV is satellite, but who cares when nature’s this good? Fishing is best in the morning — once the dam opens, the river rises fast. Got tender feet? There are stickers between the cabin and the bank, but the wooded area to the left was great for our dog. The listing says to use a truck, and it’s not exaggerating. Our host was incredibly gracious and quick to respond. We’re already making plans to come back!
