Baan Tonmai is new and built to a high standard, surrounded by large gardens, fruiting trees, and jungle to the sea. It is private and serene with a lovely 1-kilometer access road through the forest. Only the surf pounding in the near distance, the whistle call of raptors and eagles, song birds, and cicada can be heard day and night. Monkeys will chatter and argue from time to time in the forest, and my Hornbill family will squawk in the cashew nut trees when they come for breakfast or dinner.

A spacious outdoor area features a rectangular swimming pool surrounded by lounge chairs and vibrant pink sunbeds. Traditional thatched-roof huts provide shaded seating, while palm trees create a relaxed tropical ambiance under a clear blue sky.
